@howycwap These cymbal are not for metal, they are Jazz cymbals. The reason for the cost is that it's very hard to make a piece of bronze sound this way. They need to be hand made which involves hours upon hours of hand hammering of the highest quality castings. I can tell you that I would rather have one Spizz or old K in my setup than a dozen cheapo, stamped, mass-produced cymbals. But then again I prefer world travel over video games.

@howycwap i know what you mean. These spizz's sound great, but they're comparing with the vintage k's and a's and so, may as well be a similar price to them (although i've seen a lot of vintage k's go for $2500+). Like you say, i'd buy an Artisan or modern konstantinople over this any day, merely to save the cash! and they sound just as good, if not better

@dave90mckeague As you probably know, every Spizz is different...and each has tons more soul and character than any modern mass-produced cymbal. I believe there is a perfect (albeit expensive) Spizz for every jazz drummer, you just have to find it. Still likely over a thousand dollars less than an Old K!

Do gretsch snares also have a 30 degree bearing edge like the rest of the kit?

@Fendermrr i don't about the round badges, but my renown kit snare's edge is 45 degrees, but the rest of the kit is 30
