  • no you were right the first time dude. its a cult not a denomoination. like the Johavash witness and 7th day advantist

  • google this , since I can't post the website with the facts

Are Deaths by Blood Transfusion Common?

    weigh your odds

  • i dont by this at all, this all falsed accusations, speaking for a sovereity GOD,the lord said every tongue will confess jesus has lord, and every knee will bow,i thank you lord jesus ,i believe in announce you lord ,and dennounce satan the devil father of deceiving lost souls ,the devil is a real cult, and to those who are making everything falsed to be giving satan glory over everything ,slay the devil the cult....satan is the devil ,he is real....revelations 20:10 nkjv-bible

  • I Really liked how you ended this Video. "Thats religion For You"

  • Well I was A JW for 25 years of my life and while there are a few glaring flaws in your analysis (for example they do not believe in hell fire mealy death without hope of resurrection) you have still summed things up pretty well. The blood doctrine is one of the most convoluted belief's on earth.

  • PRAISE the almighty Watchotwer society of Brooklyn NewYork where the god of the Watchtower clowns reside!

  • judging someones belief when, you should judge your own belief. Saying JW's are wrong and saying Christianity is right, is like saying ones a cult and the other isnt. They both are. Christians, Catholics, JW's Mormons, all cults

  • you should add "kool-aid drinking"

  • I think the Jehovas are on the right track with that one.

In fact all theists who deny evolution & the processes of science should, in good conscience refuse medical treatment.

If you believe that god can heal you let him do his job. The worst that can happen is that you will go to heaven right?

  • Awesome video, I didn't know all this stuff.

  • Don't forget the heavy guilt prevalent in JW. My grandmother is a JW, and she did something really awful when my mom tried to tell her about being sexually abused as a 9 year old child. The church had guilt-ridden my grandma so much that she said; "if anything bad is happening to you, its because God is punishing you and I don't want to know about it."

That kind of guilt is just sick.

  • whoa, that's disturbing...how can people believe things like that?

  • @benjaman76

As an ex-JW, I must say that I highly doubt that your grandma really made this statement. (If your gramdma was really a JW)

JW do not believe that bad things happen because of God. They'd never say such a thing. For them, god is good (no exception) and all the bad thing happen because of satan, that want to turn you away from God by making you think that God is responsible.

But yes, when something that serious happen, they make sure it dosen't leak out of the congregation.

  • My grandmother was (and still is) a JW. Granted she comes from a really troubled background, so I'm sure her own personal guilt was the catalyst for whatever the JW taught her. But still, that type of thinking is easy to find in any religious environment. Christianity has three primary motivations for belief; Salvation, Guilt and Fear.

And for the record, I don't think ALL JW would say the same thing to my mom that my grandma did in that situation. But thats just what was allowed to happened .

  • @benjaman76

Oh by the way, don't think I'm protecting them, I've just been raisaid as a JW... and left at 18 years old (my parent wouldn't let me before that)

    I'm now a hardcore atheist :p

  • Brillient Video there.

I used to be involved with the Jehovah's Witness organisation as a bible student, but dropped out after a Jehovah's Witness lady died (who is called Emma Gough) from refusing blood after giving birth to twins and that happend this year and scared me as Askegg mentioned it is a waste. I think it is cold hearted and demonic what they believe in.

  • Your right! Jehovah False Witnesses are a cult. They DO NOT believe in the trinity, deity of Christ, bodily resurrection of Christ, the Person of God the Holy Spirit, the conscious eternal punishment of the lost.

How u answer Jesus's question in Matthew 16:16 "Who do you say I am?" Is the ultimate question. Simon Peter answered correctly "You are Christ, the Son of the living God."

  • For the record, I am agnostic, but I did study with Witnesses as a young lad. While I now disagree with most of what I learned, what about other Christian religions? Catholic priests molesting children for years? Or Islam preaching peace while commissioning suicide bombers? If we condemn one religion, we should condemn them all. Maybe atheists have it best - they don't have to apologize for anything. Your video does provoke thought, though - that's always a good thing.

  • I plan a series of them looking at the strange beliefs of different faiths. Time has not been kind to me lately and I am due to post another one soon.

  • Fair enough - thanks for the reply.

  • This kind of crap is the antithesis of a loving God, who but brainwashed and intellectually bankrupt people come up with this nonsense? I think you're doing the Lord's work here ;) keep it up.

  • Just read a tragic story about this subject: tinyurl . com /25jcmd

Very sad what dogmatic beliefs can do to people.

  • What a terrible waste. Now two children must grow up without their beautiful mother.

  • I am a Christian and you are an atheist.

The only reason I agree with you on THIS video is because my dad is a Jehovah's Witness and nothing about his religion makes sense to me.

    I find it funny how,

they go around trying to convert people.

    But

they don't let their children participate in religious debates.

    They're scared they'll get disproved.

So they go around trying to disprove everyone else.

    :/

  • If I hadn't accepted a blood transfusion on at least two occasions in my life...I would've never seen this excellent video...

  • God bless CSL :D

  • very interesting...I didn't know that much about the jehovah's. I remember once they came knocking on my door so i invited them in and politley grilled them on what they believed. Suffice to say, they wern't expecting it and wern't veryu reasonable when it came down to the questions i was asking. It's interesting to see the rationale behind the what may seem unreasonable. Keep up the video's, I find them quite thought provoking. Good stuff :)

  • Now you have more ammunition when they come knocking :)

  • You really need a better audio system. I can't understand you. Or maybe that's just my speakers (I have trouble with certain sounds in songs, for instance). But I don't have problems with the other videos that I subscribe to, which is kind of alot.

  • Really?

I used an external logitech mic in a quite room for this one - I would consider it the best vocal audio I have recorded to date. Perhaps it's my accent :)

  • No; it can't be your accent: My speakers don't play certain types of sound propperly. I don't know the terminology... "frequency" or "amplitude" or something. Anyway, these kinds of sounds occur in certain music. Or maybe in certain types of recordings? Maybe my speakers interact badly with your type of recording.

  • lol i love that cartoon at the end.

jw make other christians seem reasonable.

  • i think jw's need to have there nonsense exposed, but you have messed up on a few points.for one thing they do not believe in hell, the worst that sinners get is oblivion.a few good resources for jw info are apocalyps delayed and both of raymond franz's books.

  • Yes - I picked this up in review, but decided not to bother editing it again. The distinction between oblivion and hell is reasonable arbitrary.

  • one is eternal suffering and the other is complete nonexistance of the same sort that atheist anticipate.they do not believe the soul is immortal by nature.i think it is a worthwhile point that no form of suffering is presented as the afterlife for those that do not join.i think the video in that regard does not faithfully represent them in that regard.you mention the hell thing twice and it only gives them fodder to claim you misrepresent them as a whole, which i do not feel is the case.

  • Fair point.

  • The soul is NOT immortal. The Bible says the soul dies. Adam did not HAVE or was not GIVEN a soul.....Accurate Bibles say he WAS a soul. In Hebrew "soul" simply means "breather", a person. There is NOTHING that separates from a human at death. Death is the opposite of life. There is no consciousness in death. At death you are non-existent, in EVERY sense.

  • "There is no consciousness in death. At death you are non-existent, in EVERY sense."

At least we can agree on that.

  • true, because that is what God's Word teaches.

  • Maybe, but we certainly have no evidence that anything at all happens when you die. That's why I believe it to be true and not because some old musty book says so.

  • That "old musty book" just HAPPENS to be the "Handbook for Humans"!!! It's factual, and it's a living volume!! It's the living Word of God, and it's more vital now than at practically any other time in history because, much of what it prophesies is happening all around us!!!! Many people like you sometimes find out (too late) that "when in doubt, consult the handbook"!

  • I own many different translations of God's word.....NONE of them "musty".

  • Yeah, yeah; end of the world is coming, etc, etc ...

  • It sure is! Only those who refuse to open their eyes cannot see that the way the world is now is MUCH different (spelled "worse") than it was just a few decades ago. But....it's not the end of the planet. The planet is not wicked. It's just the end of wicked humans. The righteous will stick around and be able to live in a real Paradise.

  • Accorind to the JW's the end is past due.

  • Pretty good, although I think that they and you have gotten Deuteronomy 18:22 severely wrong. Read it again, it is saying that if a prophet declares something will happen and it doesn't, he is speaking presumptuously and therefore we need not be afraid of him. It logically follows that it is implying that they are a false prophet.

  • Good vid... Thanks!

  • Awesome stuff and an interesting video on the background of yet another wonderful extension of xtiananity.

  • Jehovah's Witnesses are the single most educated people on the planet, when it comes to accurate knowledge of the Bible. You have temporary freedom now to say what you feel....enjoy it while it lasts.

  • Hahahaha!

  • Another cult member threatens people with mythical damnation. How quaint.

  • Were you referring to me?! If so, you need to know: I have NEVER been part of any cult, and never will. I DO, however take part in true worship as a Christian Witness of Jehovah God. You need to go find out if YOU'RE in a cult, Charlie!! But it's OK....the non-believing 1st century Jews thought that Jesus and his true followers were in a cult too, so..thanks for letting me be faithful to the true God.

  • Christianity is a cult Skippy.

  • Wrong. True Christianity is just THE OPPOSITE of a cult, in every sense of the way. But 1st century "experts", because of being misled, claimed that Jesus and his disciples were cult, or part of a cult, or, whtater.

  • The delineation between cults, denominations, and a religion seems mostly to do with popularity. You don't like the term because of the negative connotations, but the important differences are not that great.

  • Enjoy it while it lasts? You've missed all of your deadlines!

  • Thank you for this video. I guess they don't understand the difference between eating blood and a blood transfusion. Also they were founded in 1870 but it took them until 1945 to come to this conclusion. Why?

  • ★★★★★ I really mean it!

  • 5 stars for giving Kane a cameo.

  • The JW's don't believe in hellfire. They believe that Jesus throws your consciousness into oblivion. Also Jesus was the archangel Gabriel. They think it was Gabriel not god who made this world.A bunch of crazy mother fuckers!

  • Well done! In Vancouver, there was a recent birth of quadruplets to a JW mother. They refused blood transfusions for the babies and they had their kids seized by the gov, given the treatment, then returned to the parents. They managed to save three. But of course, it's not child abuse if it's your religion right?

  • So black pudding is out then?

  • My uncle is a JW

  • So they believe that jesus christ IS god?

God allegedly made us in his image, therefore we are the image of christ. Then wouldn't we ALL have jesus's blood?

    (a stretch I know)

  • excellent,Askegg
