Every weekend I go around the city picking up glass bottles and I recycle them into reading glasses. My company has now grown, its called lens crafters and we have quite a few locations. I have to work on the glass for a while so it comes out clear enough to read from but I generally do it all with 2 or 3 helpers on teh weekends.
