This is what happens when the campaign is not well-funded. Not only does the campaign need money on hand, it also needs to know it can count on money in the future. The 2008 campaign didn't really get decent money until December, and by then it was too late. Please donate to the campaign and urge others to do so. Money is called the "mother's milk of politics" for a reason.

"Get out of Iraq pronto, cut government spending, and protect personal privacy, personal freedom." Those are the bullet points of the message. It's just presented badly by people that are clearly actors. It doesn't seem genuine. But you're right, the Conviction ad is much better. Perhaps b/c of a better budget this time around.

You need either a clearly delineated presentation of the point or you need to be aware of the point they are making in the first place. Now, you and I are clearly part of the latter group: we both know what Ron Paul stands for, hence we can identify it. The people who the ad was for? Not so much. If they really wanted to get the point across, then they might have done as you said: list his message in bullets.
