We must be prudent consumers of the news - knowing that, while they don't exactly LIE, they certainly taint the truth by focusing on the most outrageous or violent parts of any story.

It's why people run around scared of being attacked when all evidence shows that your chances of being criminally assaulted have never been lower. I've gone thousands and thousands of days without being attacked.... not a line about it in my local paper.

I agree regarding the small number of violent protesters. Youtuber Straightd0pe (that's a zero not an o) attended the protest and posted a video of his experiences. "Law enforcers" do not come off well in the footage.
