  • After all these years, this is still my favorite. I simply love it.

  • I saw this way back in 2005 before YouTube was around and although I look pretty much every Christmas I've never yet seen one that beats it. The way the lights start (relatively) modest and build with the music, adding new features each time, makes it really special. The fact that it also happens to have been created using the Xilinx FPGAs I was working on at the time just made it more relevant. Thanks to Carson Williams for making something really special!

  • this video is by far the best of all the versions i have seen of this video of wizards set to the lights. there are many copies of this exact video floating around youtube. again this is the best!

  • That neighborhood is Deerfield village

  • I live in Mason and this neighborhood!!! That's my sisters Friends house

  • What do the neighbors think? Anyway, I love it! I wondered how to find it on the internet, and then a kind good neighbor forwarded it to me. Yes, never gets old...unless you'd hear it all year long. Then it might be too much of a muchness (though this is almost Scrooge-y to say!) Must get the Trans-Siberia recording, though. Bravo!!!!

  • Never gets old!

  • The best light show I have ever seen, I watch this every year at this time. Amazing!

  • Finally! Good quality!

  • @fransiskoangel Agreed!!!!

Best one I've found on Youtube so far!

  • Let me tell ya, cos I know!..This video IS without question the best quality I have seen, and is also the genuine article. Unlike some other blurred and crap copies. Having spoken to the guy that made this, and your right it was LOR equipment, even though this video only has 554 views, it is the best quality and the original one.

One thing though, having spoken a few years ago to the guy and seeing it at the time, I'm pretty certain it was prior 2004.

And I was lucky I got the sequence :-)

  • @earruse this is a re-film. the original video had a blinking light on the left of the house that must have came from a tower or something..just an observation:-)

  • Ahh, yes, the one that catapulted Light-O-Rama to stardom... well, at least after people quit arguing that it had to be CGI trickery.

  • That is awesome!
