the last chord doesn't clash! It is a major 2nd (Do Re) its beautiful and used all the time by people such as the kings singers. I love the serenity that is introduced in a dissonant harmony. It truly brings flavor to the piece and allows your ear to enjoy the traditional harmonies.

You want to harmonize for your band. Starting with the chords for each passage pick out the melody. You can sing any of the other notes as an harmony. Listen to the Everly's they are the dogs when it comes to harmony. The eagles too have 3 or 4 harmonies going on. Again learn th chords and you will be able to pick out how different phrases sound. good luck
