  • Fuck this song.

  • Ahaha, an old master of mine used to play this song whenever we were sparring... what a coincidence.

  • Hey SuperBlippo, you say competitors. I've been a competitor for many years, I've had mixed results. Fundamentally, I would like to think all martial arts is defense first. And surely Olympic TKD I'd call them players than fighters would benefit from keeping a guard, after all if the shot is covered - No Score. Maybe I'd question Olympic TKD is it a Sport or Martial Art. After all What's more important Gold Glory at the expense of a Broken Jaw. ITF TKD also has huge problem with guard. Bizare!!

  • omg

  • damn 0:49 KTFO

  • im soooo tired of this song!!!

  • I've practiced TKD for 24 years. From what I've seen a combination of Jiu Jitsu and Boxing is the ultimate unarmed self defense art. TKD is certainly nice to look at. But remember, TKD was initially thought as an evolving Martial Art, and anybody who doesn't look beyond the 24 Hyungs in ITF is fooling themselves they can defend themselves. And I laugh at theses clowns holding their guard at their wastelines, First rule of sparring - HANDS UP! Guard yur body and head

  • @SuperBlippo Interestingly, most Olympic TKD fighters don't keep up their hands a whole a lot. This is partially due to the difficulty of being awarded a point via punch, and it is also partially due to getting speed for the kick while not telegraphing as much. Now, I am no Olympic fighter, but a lot of the top competitors are very lax with their guard when at a kick's distance so it must be helping them somehow.

  • let the boddie hit th... *MUTE*

  • i do taekwando :)

  • @Akirabone same what belt are you

  • @stundobolt im only yellow :)

  • Heard a great bit of wisdom about martial arts somewhere `There are many pathways up the mountain- all difficult, but the view from the summit is the same.`

  • jesus this song is getting old!

  • THANKS PEOPLE!

First time I've ever seen people not disguissing abt which art is better etc.

I've done shotokan karate, ITF TKD, WTF TKD, Muay Thai, Judo, Jiu jiutsu, and I think all of them are great! Thank you:D ALL MARTIAL ARTS<3

  • @lolomfgroflmao i agree, there's no need to argue as they all have their own strengths and weaknesses. I've practiced jiu juitsu, taekwondo, muay thai, shotokan and wado ryu karate, and atm shaolin kung fu and thinking of starting tkd again as i want the positive points of all of them together! :)

  • Comment removed

  • I do tkd...i just love martial arts in general...it doesnt really matter what you do...i matters who your teacher is, how much you practice, and how much experience you have sparing...these three things make or break a martial artist...it irks me when people say one style is better than the next...your an idiot.,,

  • awesome video, awesome accuricy

  • 1:24 Germany FOR THE WIN !

    gz from germany ;)

  • Damn I miss TKD...because of studies I had to quit for a while. I think I'm going back, it just made my lif better and hope will continue to make it so.

  • @jaquesgrobler2 hey man totally cool opinion, thats wy we are allowed to comment i wasnt trying to be an ass hole but i hope you understand it was from my experience ;-p have a good day man

  • The only thing i don't like about the flashy kicks is the fact that you can't use them in a fight usually. They take too long. Sure they are strong and look great, but try setting up for that in a fight and see what happens.

  • @mason62100 Hah I had great agility and fast reactions since I was small i.I heard that this sport was for me. I didnt like it first and yes i through that its not possible to use in real fights and trust me I was wrong. Ive seen sick people at the gym where i train, the type that brakes stones with both elbows, palms and of course with legs . The right stack amount of the stone plates takes the same force as breaking a human bone. You dont have to spin like crazy,1 normal side kick=broken bone

  • lol kid at the start in the middle was full on ninja

  • @ heyheyheyyep you suck!

  • Fun movie. I liked how there were a couple ITF clips included. I practice WTF but I also enjoy watching ITF. No reason for practitioners of one style to dislike the other.

  • no reason for practitioners on one style to train in the other. i do. got all my belts in ITF but do WTF once a week for more training. Taekwondo is Taekwondo:)

  • Not a big TKD fan, but the three-board break at 2:14 is pretty impressive.

  • someone can tell me the name of this song?

  • @hanscaro77 Drowning pool - Let the bodies hit the floor.

  • @LOidos2000 its just called "Bodies" but no biggie

  • ok tahnks!

  • cool

  • haha 1:08

  • who doesnt love the way he just drops at 1:01

  • Ur right! Most lethal hit in all taekwondo.

  • 0:28 nice 540

  • that sucked

  • whats the name of this song? its in most of youtube videos

  • Its called overrated.

  • bodies by drowning pool

  • @Rebanador98 bodies by drowning pool

  • really awesome vid ^^

  • oh wow.. incredible. honestly lol. and yeah in a real fight, those high flying kicks would intimidate the shit out of their opponent. and you will have the agile edge. hmmm i wonder if your born with these kind of talents... or certain formed ligament and tendans.. idk.. maybe anyone can jsut train for it.. interesting

  • TRAIN AND TRAIN HARD!!

  • imagine taekwondo and muay thai in one martial art

it's called kyuk too ki/korean kickboxning

  • Taekwondo - The way of the fist and foot.

And no, i'm a Muay Thai-fighter - but Martial Art as a Martial Art, right? Respect them all!

  • I think you might be the first MT guy I've seen on youtube who isn't some tough guy a-hole.

  • Haha thank you. I've noticed the same problem, and I think that almost no-one of the "tough guys" knows anything about Martial Art, all the know something about is fighting.

  • @Martin716 i could not have said that better.

  • @Martin716 you couldnt be anymore right

  • @Martin716 taekwondo actually means "foot, fist, way of life"

  • @DiscoNun24 Taekwondo is usually translated into English as meaning "The way of the hand and foot" and some as "The way of the open hand and foot".

  • great kicks. but in real fight, u dont need high flying kicks.

  • Great Taekwondo , Sports or Martial Arts in both we kick ASS

  • thats why you see so many taekwando guys in the ufc

  • because theyd kill everyone??...

  • cool

  • music-Bodies , "Drowning pool "

  • what's the name of the song? answer please :)

  • lol, germany got pwnd

  • 2:42 shows real strenght and acuracy

    tkd for life

  • when u seen someone doing kicks like this u just DONT wanna fight them! a controlled kick to the head is powerfull shit

  • it's not just powerfull, you'd be knocked out before you hit the ground!!!

  • in other words... Its fucking awesome to look at and usefull as hell :D

  • agreed

  • nah id put any TKD champ against any Muay Thai champ and i would be pretty certain Thai would win in no way am i dissing these guys but in a nighclub this shit would just not work

  • u got it twisted champ... TKD is multi faceted....there's "shows stuff", "sport/sparring", and self defense which is much more practical....

  • lol so true. If it were so useless then it wouldn't still be around.

  • my master was telling us a story about how one of his pupils was involved in a fight in a club

    he used taekwondo against them

    he won

    case closd

  • your probably right for this style of TKD it more of a sport. but they are not all the same just like Karate or Kung Fu it goes many ways.

  • actually, TKD get kicked in the face more, if you can even say it that way...

TKD is a martial art based of kicking? and kicks are more powerful that punches, you can punch too but a TKD master wouldnt see it as a threat they can evade, counter, whatever and kick in the face

i believe learning TKD you can definitely defend yourself well with nice long ranged strong kicks

  • you can defend your self with kicks but what if your in i tight corner or they come inside you cant always back up. and what if your in a wet enviroment i can slip doing a kick idc how much control you have its risky. tkd gets kicked in the face more yes. but its still hard to kick em there with a kick thats why in sparring their hands are down to protect the body because its hard to score to the head. if you look at tournaments most points are to the body. tkd helps you defend but i think its

  • Uhm man.. I think you forget something, If they are in a corner then they can defend themselves as the best.. and they can box too.. lol.. They are veery good at it.. But training more on feets.. and with defending yourself you learn how to create a good attack. Believe or not

  • tkd can box a lil bit but compare to muay thai boxing is more prevalent in the training.

  • one dimensional fighting from a distance with just kicks. you have to learn how to fighting inside in close quarters too. also people need to learn how to fight when ending up on the ground. most people dnt end of being tkd master so we make mistakes. and learning another martial arts style to be more balanced isnt a bad thing. most masters dnt like u switching up cuz its bad for business.

  • it not alway true what u say because the tkd fighter trains to perfect his kicks so does boxer with they punches so u never know what would happen that the amazing part of the martial art world at least at my opinion

  • your opinion is acutal fact

  • ladies and gentlemen....the demo team featured here is none other than taepoong from Germany.

  • cool :) TKD!! <3:D

  • can i hav da name of ds song plz ?

might boost up my mood during martial arts sparring :)

  • what idiot put this song to this video?

  • and a muay thaier in taekwondo rules?

  • taekwondo but tkd rules are gay no punch 2 da face 2 legs no nothing.

  • hahaha :P you just lost your point

  • muay thai rules are more street practical.

  • that has nothing to do with giving out belts

  • i thought we wer talkn about mt vs tkd rules now

  • dude every martial art has their strong points. muay thai and tkd are kicking arts but if you blend the power of muay thai with the speed grace and accuracy of tkd you then create an awesomw fighting style.....think about it!!!

  • I agree but I did tkd for 5 yrs and i wish they would change up the rules for sparring 2 be more street practical. no sport martial art is completely street practical as in rules but for tkd they should change to kick boxing rules. i have seen sooooo many tkd fighters outside of sparring get their ass beat cuz they dnt punch and have their hands down. if seen guys doin it 4 yrs and get beat by guys that never spent a minute in a dojiang. how can some1 call them self a fighter who never got punch

  • ...punched in the face before? more tkd fighters need 2 learn how 2 get hit in the face more.

  • what the hell are you talking about.

you actually believe getting punched in the face should be part of one's martial arts curriculum?

  • yes it is in every other martial arts curriculum. streets are crazy u hav 2 be tough if u cant take a hit all that stuff u learn goes down the drain.

  • I disagree. There is no art where getting punched in the face is part of their curriculum. No one lets himself get punched in the face voluntarily.

I aim not to get hit during fights. I am a counter-based martial artist, so countering is what I train in the most. If I train so long not to get hit and I get hit in the street then all my Martial Arts training have failed me anyway. I'm no cage fighter, I finish it with the first blow.

  • im not sayn let ur self get punched in the face. but you can never say you will never get hit i did tkd for 5 yrs and 1 slip up even after yrs of training you can still mess up you cant say "oh ill never get hit." there is always that chance. and any cage fighter can finish a fight with one blow they all have that knocked out power. you need to wake up and look at other martial arts. what if your on the ground on your back? yrs of training goes down the drain because you never been in that place

  • Oh good. I really thought you wanted me to let myself get punched in the face.

I'm not really someone you should argue against though because I'm not nescesarily a Taekwondo fighter. I will train in Wing Tsun and Aikido as well, and I did Ninjutsu for quite some time. I'm not sticking to TKD at all

I'm someone that uses my hands first...kicking is not really my thing. But you were suggesting Taekwondo sucked and I couldnt let you get away with that...

  • i dnt think it sucks but i think it could be better. like change the rules in sparring cuz school focus their training based on it. and when that happens fighters fight with their hands down and develope bad habits.

  • I dont even like sparring. Scoring points is against everything Martial Arts should stand for. Sometimes people in my class say: "yeah but that kick wouldnt get you poinys". I always reply: Then why dont you do basketball instead?

You should think about your martial art first, sparring comes in last place

  • i see what ur sayin when i fight in my academy i use only defense which im sorry but if anyone says martial arts does no good on the street then there fuckin retarded because a good tornado or 360 round kick to the head is gonna put some out or in the hospital

  • haha one good momdollyo-dollyo-chagi(or tornado kick) might even kill the guy. ^^

  • very true but you have to be able to use it effectively otherwise using it might put you in hospital.

  • lol 1.53 fail !!

  • its a good song, thats why its used. plus kinda makes sense with vids like this

  • yes, awesome indeed...

  • cool cilps

  • I'm so sick of every fucking video on youtube having Bodies by Drowning Pool as the background music.

  • Pretty cool Video

    Go TKD (:

  • 1:00 the player on the right is han jae koo 1986 asian games champion

  • ~The dudes at the end where literally running onto the kicks! ??

  • No one keeps their hands up, basic mistake.

  • very very very nice video...

  • 0:14 is a beuty!

  • Great video!

    Moo Do Jung Shin!

  • good!

  • O.O

maybe now i will get the guts to enter my brothers school XD

he's a teacher.. it all started when he was 6 (now 28)...

XD kool i wanna knock someone out hahah *evil me* jk

    im hyper XD

  • taekwondo rock on

  • 1:10 ooo

  • I love this shit. I've tried karate, breakdance, capoeira and ninjutsu. Now this (and squash) and I have to say this is by far my favorite so far. See you guys in a match sometime!

  • yeeeeeeeeeeaaaaaaaaa

  • 1:08 damn!!!!

  • it is same than black belt

  • your belt would be red-black, but u would be still able to wear dan-dobok. that belt degree is called 1 poom.

  • poom is also called a jr. black belt

  • actually I stopped with TKD because I wasn't allowed to get my blackbelt due to my young age...

  • taekwondo is awesome this is not like other martial arts who train hard just to gain street fights...(you know what i mean)...this martial art has a good form...unlike others..imagine while you are training taekwondo you gain spinning kick who are good to see..moreother martial arts are imitating taekwondo kicks..

  • can someone tell me where the scenes with the yellow symbols are taken from?!? please PN me!

    THX

    -Sry 4 bad english ;)

  • wad song iz this? message me

  • drowning pool:Bodies(Let the Bodies hit the floor)

  • I can tell you Taekwondo is not that great ..

If you do Taekwondo(-I DID it..) you just want to get rid of it .. its boring doing the same kick (no flying kick etc .. a NORMAL kick) all day ..

Its going to be intresting if you have the black belt .. but its a looong way .. -.- (and you have to be 18 to get it..)

i have the blue belt and its still boring ..

  • you juz lack of passion, my freind

  • What makes you think u have 2 be 18 2 get a black belt? There might be a good reason y ur doing the same kick over and over again. Maybe ur supposed to drill it to perfection. There's an old Korean saying "It is better to train one technique 1000 times rather than train 1000 techniques only once". If u hate TKD so much, y don't u quit? Maybe TKD is just not right 4 u.

  • yeah thats also an old chinese saying. not being biased, i'm a japanese martial artist! but i'm pretty sure that was started by a shoalin monk. its also a very good saying

  • lol we're talking martial arts here my friend.... EVERYTHING came from china at one point or another..... you practice in which japanese arts? i do all korean arts, taekwondo, hapkido, and soon kumdo.....

  • thats not ALL as u said :P

  • hahaha true. I didn't catch that little typo ^_^''

  • ... I don't think you had a single good point with this comment.

-Boring doing the same kick over and over again? This is the fact of all SPORTS/physical discipline. You can't get good at it if you don't do it a 10000 times.

-You do not have to be 18 to get a black belt.

-Maybe martial arts is not for you

  • Not all is from Itf, but most. ITF is that with this black letters on trousers near ankles.

  • I think that we're watching now it's Taekwondo ITF. Im exercising that and i saw a competition from 2006. In that movie there are the sam techniques. I think.

  • most of them r wtf coz the guard using in both are different... but in this clips r some from ITF, u can't distinguished both juz by lookin' at the techniques, coz, basicly it's came from a same origin... politics break it up...huhuu...

  • nice, just how i like tkd :)

  • WTF TAEKWONDO DA BEST.

  • what about ITF?

  • Any martial art that is right for you! :D

  • I've taken WTF for about 8year and ITF for about 8months but I'd say ITF's better

  • well... still subjectives though...

  • this guy at the begin is a cobra wat 9 dan? man!

  • Taekwondo is hard work . I am a red belt almast a black belt . And I see my self doing this all my life . If you like to talk about Taekondo .Reply back . It change my life

  • I know you are honestly saying that. I respect the every art. But why do people always criticize different martial arts so much? I wish people would be more honest about what they practice, to say what's the best of their art and what's not.

  • agree with u... why we must see the different?? watch Human Weapon or Fight Quest, and we can learn the differences between martial arts, and appreciate the similarity.. thing is, differences make uniques, but sole purpose of martial art is mainly 3, to defense ourselves and our loves one (family, country, etc), for art, and to discipline ourselves...

  • yes Taekwondo is hard work but it's a lot of fun. I'm a jr. red belt.

  • yes great song and tkd :D

  • great song great video

  • It's soooooooooooo greatttttttt !!! I love it. Could you upload more of this !!! Pleaseeeeee !!!
