yea I hear a difference. The new version actually comes with a shock-absorber type thing much like that carboard you put in. With the cardboard it sounds the same as the open bolt system. Without it almost sounds like its low on gas. Anyway, you have 30 rounds. Why blow through them as fast as you can?

1: what is the basic maintainence that a gbbr needs, and is it any easier than an aeg?

2: how do you know when any gas mag is full? Do they have a blowoff valve?

@forrest225 Each has their use. The vertical FG can be held in the same manner as the AFG, so I have really started using them more. AFB are nice, they work great,they just offer no versatility in your hold.

@mrGRA1276 Sometimes they do not lock in on first try. You have to give them a good push to get them to lock.

Hey what you were talking about the brass tube;

if you look at it from eye level, it looks like theirs a bullet in the bolt. try it and youll see

@123MrAirsofter You are correct, but a bullet in the bolt in not realistic.. That is not very important to me so much as the proper function of the gun.. The mention of the black resembling the Open Bolt model was just something to point out.. Im a function over form guy. Thanks for watching, and the info.

@RobMann96 Based on my personal experience, I suggest you get the SCAR. This gun is great, but it has its problems, and they can be quite a pain to correct. The PDW platform has an effective range of about 100-150 feet with .20 gram BB's. I have not tried heavier weights.

@SHWELL11 Ah man I wish I could have warned you away from these. I've owned the SCAR and the PDW. The WE system just like their pistols is pretty bad. As you stated, these things are plagued with problems, much just from the bad design. I see you are coping around them like the paint job you did. Nice These are my problems with WE GBBRs -Terrible cool down -Bad gas efficiency -Way too high of FPS -Terrible paint -Weak parts -Incorrect build Pluses are -Cheaper -Parts available -Take care man

SHWELL I agree I didnt hear any difference in the ROF, I guess it all depends on how the WE works internally.

I know that in other videos of the GHK PDW they seem to shoot a lot faster than mine did when I got it, I also shortened my stroke even more to see how much I could change the ROF and it increased it even more.

One thing that I can say is that my WE Scar's and WE M4 already had a higher ROF than the WA type guns.
