Jesus himself was hated and despised for telling the truth and I believe that is the greatest evidence of being a true christian. For the word of the Lord says, "people will hate you because of me." A couple of years ago I called myself a christian, I even got baptized but I did not take God seriously. I started doing drugs and drinking smoking, and stopped going to church, dropped out of school, I didn't care at all.A couple months ago, The Grace of God saved me, his power brought me to him, Now I have quit everything,and am striving towards God,even though I still sin, I am repenting everyday and asking for God's strength to over come temptation!!! heres a easy way to explain this...

God gave us the instruction manual. In it explains everything on how to do God's will. Unless you read and understand it with God's holy spirit teaching you (he actually will teach you.) and DO what it tells you then you cannot enter into the kingdom of God. These instuctions is THE HOLY BIBLE. The bible is the true gospel that everyone should follow by but they don't. They just follow what other people tell them. not what God's word tells them.

It's a component of the Gospel, I would not say that that clip is a sufficient message for salvation, but it is entirely biblical, sanctification must follow justification whenever justification is genuine.

Paul probably wouldn't say we have a 'sin nature' since we have been recreated by the Spirit in regeneration. However, the struggle between the flesh and the Spirit remains. Praise God for your comment though, may we press on to know Him, and to Glory in our Savior and Lord, Jesus Christ.

When "religion" ends and God begins you WILL know it. Sin will make you almost physically ill and the feeling goes way beyond normal guilt. Even though all people will still sin for the remainder of their lives it will be less frequent and you will WANT to repent. (The "World" does have a mighty strong hold on each of us.) Pray always and trust the Cross!

Every time I sinned I felt as if I was done for, and I wouldn't even pray because I felt God wouldn't forgive me. It took me SO LONG to realize that we ALL sin. I was comparing my life to everyone else and not to the word. I'm so glad I finally shaped up and got myself on track. I still mourn my sin, but now I dont let the evil one get a foothold as I used to.
