Remember that it's a demanding game to be emulated - but also, the software you need to even record this footage to any kind of a high resolution in real time, is going to be a major drain on the system. It's done well considering.

Got it, thanks! I had to change the settings in mame.ini to enable mouse =D

So I downloaded everything, it works awesome, but using the keyboard sucks!  How do I use the mouse to play?

@skrapmetal right-click on the game and click on properties and then click on controllers and check the Enable Mouse Input and you should be enable to play the game with the mouse. I hope this helps you all. ^_^

I downloaded MAME32 and this but MAME32 doesn't work and 96% of the people I asked said it doesn't work either.

Actually you can play this game on MAME32 but it requires you to download 2 files. One of them is the rom itself (area51) & the other is a CHD file (area51t) & all you need to do is to extract the CHD file into the rom. I think this is the main reason why people can't get it to play. This also applies to Maximum Force as well.

All I had to do was drag & drop the CHD file into the area51 zip file & it should start updating itself. The entire rom should now be 519MB

Oh true. Yeah that would be right..1.68GB but I rather just download them seperately cause the CHD file for Maximum Force is 1.18GB

That's where I got mine from. I have a problem, the game works fine, but it's the controls. I use the mouse to play the game, and when ever I shoot, it shoots to the left of the crosshair, instead of in the center. This is very annoying, because I will point my crosshair strait at an enemy, and miss because of it. How do I fix the problem? Does anyone know?

Press F2 during the game to open up the Service Mode & select Gun Test to fix the problem.

Damn, now I have another problem with that. It's showing my mouse to be set for player 2 (so the crosshair is blue, but the test aim to configure it is red... that's the color for player 1) even though my controls are set for player 1 to use the mouse. Man, am I confused.
