  • I kneel before the greatness! Keep on rocking "Pit Boys"!

  • stirring with a knife?! What has cooking come too..^.^

  • Only thing I would have done different is soak the steaks in the marinade in a dish instead of just brushing them that way not wasting what he made.

  • Really curious as to what a steak like the ones you're using would cost in the States? Here in Holland a steak of around 5/600 grams would cost you something around 15 euros, so about 18 dollars. Just makes me wonder seeing you guys throwing around meat like it grows on trees. Hope you can get back to me on this.

  • @richardplug Prices vary, but in Texas I can always find quality, bone-in strip steaks for less than $9 US per pound. Steaks this size should cost me no more than $11.50 US each...about 8.25 euros. You might pay more in other parts of the country and higher quality steaks (prime grade) will carry a premium.

  • @jolrog02 Wow awesome, thanks for your reply! I really appreciate it. This makes me long for some real American meat. This week I had a steak that cost me 8 euros (so around $11, but not in a restaurant of course) for two thirds of a pound. But I guess the more meat is consumed the less it costs. Again, thanks for your reply!

  • Awesome job!!

  • Hell yes, that measuring with the hands is bad ass. I rarely use measuring spoons, nice to see I'm not the only one!

  • "MAN.. they're lookin' good enough to eat already." (referring to the RAW just-marinated steaks LOL)!!! love your vids!!

  • tsss this is nothing!*look other side and drools like a waterfall*

  • GREAT video as always! One question if I may. How do you clean and sanitize your wooden cutting board?

  • If you have a small-medium sized wooden cutting board and a gas stove top, here's what you do:

    1) wash the cutting board.

    2) recall which side of the board you normally use to cut your meats, fish, etc.. refer to this "side" as side "A"

    3) place the board on the stove top, just over the area where the pilot light is, with side "A" faced down onto the stove-top

    4) let sit for half an hour or longer, depending on how paranoid you are.

    5) when you can feel the heat on the top side, it's dry.

  • greetings from denmark thanks for the grate tips......was just about to move to the US to get to your meat hehe it seems that you can buy the same cuts off meat in america that you can here but at 10% of the price

  • Personally I think the NY strip is one of the best cuts of steak that you can buy. It's PACKED with flavor and it's not tiny, like most ribeyes. I don't eat many ribeyes for that reason alone.

  • i'm gonna have to try this this weekend

  • yummy =)

  • well done BBQ PitBoys.

The salad looks beautiful at the end; and it's about time you guys grilled a nice rare steak! Ain't no better way to have a striplion :)

  • We did the bean salad the other day. Let me testify... IT WAS AWESOME! 5*s as always.

  • Question? Why not just add crisped bacon to the raw veggies & rinsed beans, then marinate in the dressing ingreds? Super yummy looking NY strips on the bone ! Outstanding !!!

  • Lol.People like you are funny ^^

  • I'm hoppin the fence.

  • this was the last vid........still good though with a steak bonus...

  • Looks good.

  • man.. u smell that!!! black bean country here... doing this tonight... my neighbors wanna know the secret....!!! wife don't like going out to eat any more... since we found your videos... only home cooking now!! great videos :-)

  • yuumm

  • everytime i see thatyou got a new video i automaticly droll

  • when the steaks were raw howcome they were like a grayish color?

  • Most meats you buy at the store have red coloring added to them. The steak he has is probably still fresh, but without all the additives in it.

Also having them in the freezer or fridge can make them appear light gray.

  • oxidation

  • Mmmmm, you smell that? That smells GOOD!

    Great vid!

  • hey again good bbq you guys the best,,,,Rusty
