i dont think you have much to worry about with the zombie apocalypse, 9 times out of 10 zombies are going to stay right where they are, hollywood california. also brush up on your guns, it holds 5 in the mag and one in the "chamber" not pipe... and they make several different forends for that model, and almost all accessories for a mossberg 500 will match up to the 88 so you almost ruined your gun for nothing. but all in all not a bad piece of work if i say so myself

did you have to drill any holes to fit the side saddle on? I heard a rumor that the mavericks dont have the drilled tap on the side to put one on. or does the kit come with longer bolts to go all the way through and put a nut on it?

Real damascus steel used to be good COMPARED TO LQ IRON & LQ STEEL of that time. Today, a simple chunk of well-tempered 1080 outperforms all the "old" and "new" damascene steels.
And if you're looking for a good blade - be it kitchen knife or cutlass - go for high-carbon plain steel that is properly hardened not hollow-ground.

@IKford1 I got it from eBay $30. I used a "UTG #P501Tactical/Weaver Picatinny rail" about $15. Just about any vertical grip will fit that rail, the hard part was fitting it to the original fore-grip. I used a Dremmel, it took about 2 hrs. =)

@elioramjr The stock is "BlackHawk Knoxx Spec-Ops for Mossberg" I got on Gun-Broker for about $75. The Picatinny rail is "UTG #P501, Tactical/Weaver rail" about $15. I used a hand grinder to fit the rail and drilled bolt holes to secure the rail. Just about any front vertical grip will work.It only took about 2 hours to fit.
i used to have that same sword and ill tell ya dont think that will help its a simple rat tail on the inside and under any pressure its just gunna bend and ur screwed
Can you post a walkthrough vid on how to put the foregrip on it? I have a wrist condition that keeps me from turning my hand over. I need a foregrip attachment.

I got the same Cold Steel machete. Wish I got the Khukri version instead, but it does just fine. 3.5-inch logs quick enough, and it will eventually get through a 10" piece! And if your technique doesn't suck and you keep it sharp, even better LOL
