This is a really good series but too bad it isn't all here. If you're watching this for the first time don't bother going on. Yea, it starts out okay but around the 7th episode it starts repeating itself on through episode 9 where it ends with no episode 10. So disappointing to waste all that time and not see how it turns out.
the stuff the kids are eating off the spoon @about 015 secs is a malt suppiment i had as a child as well, can anybody remember wot the stuff was called???
@kerrie1234567890 If you believe that children are a damnation please don't have sex, I would hate for any child to grow up under that belief. ALL CHILDREN ARE A BLESSING FROM GOD
@EmbroideredFlower Don't be so quick to judge. I never wanted kids, never liked them at all, but once I had mine everything changed. She is the light of my life. I love her with all my heart and my life is centered around her.
this makes me think of Molly from the American girls series and how she didn't want to eat her turnips until her mom came home and mixed cinnamon and sugar in them..
I would also like to say that the Rabbits, were rabbit breads that are generally Show Pet rabbits,,,, So you wouldn't get thoughs loop breads ect back in the 40's !!!
I love the coal house hope they bring it back this autumn, but i don't think they'll bring it up to the 80's the miners strike is still to fresh in alot of the old mining communities hearts.
On another note, i live only about two valleys away from were this is filmed.
I wish they would open it up for the public to go and visit like st fagans I know my nieces and nephews would love it.
you should go too beamish museum in county durham for the north east slant on life in 1825 (one half of it, still developing) and 1913 (the other half)
