I meant to say the inside of a pinball machine in my last comment. Also they seemed to have mentioned that the timelords just keep aging and not limited to just having 13 regenerations. I believe this way takes away form part of what we loved about the charactor growing up. By the way anybody else wish to see a proper reunion of the actors still alive to make an appearance on the show? A well written show that is. It can always be wrote into a story of why the actors don't look the same.

I agree that the other interior of the Tardis was better. Do not like this one at all. Looks like the inside of a child's playroom or a pinball instead of a spaceship. Also the fact thathis age is wrong compared to when the series was on the air. He was 953 when sylvestor McCoy did the role. In 2005 when it started up again he was only 900 and aging 1 year for every year the show is on the air. Regenerations in the story line lasted for decades if not centuries.

@NoBrainNoGain: Well I did see him get shot by a Dalek as he and Rose were being re-united after all that time, and they brought him to the TARDIS and he told them he was regenerating and he went all explodey but he didn't change. Something about the radiation and the hand that got cut off of him at the beginning of season 2. Anyway, yeah he got shot by a Dalek but it wasn't THIS regeneration. His song was just ending in this one.

I found the 2nd last episode to be brilliant especially with the ending, she's dead she's in the exploding tardis and he's locked in the ultimate prison but within 5 minutes all the gang are reunited, what really pissed me off about the last episode were 3 things

A) the pandorica was reopened simply with the screwdriver.

B)how was it not top priority to find out who was behind it all, they could just hit the redo buton

C) amys flirting with the doctor,considering rory did all that stuff for her

A) All of the security locks/dead locks were bypassed to open the pandorica, with the security down it could be opened and closed easily hence why Rory guarded it from being opened.

B) Next series will lead to the bigger picture as it has already been said on the actual episode. The rumours are that either Omega or The Valeyard is behind the events, but that's just rumours.

C) Because she's a women :P

@officialjonnyyoung They there can only be 13 Incarnations of the doctor. well there can be more but every regeneration get's stronger and for the 10th regeneration that is strong so i presume that the 11th regeneration is gonna be really. the reason there can be more doctor's then 13 but there won't be is because that the 13th Regeneration is so strong most time lords don't go through with it.

Made a mistake in the comment I posted earlier...I read that the doctor's regeneration are unlimited since there is no restriction to his incarnations since Gallifrey and the Time Lords are gone. Russell T Davies said this and he stated that he did this to have the series go on.

If the doctor always get younger and younger...perhaps in his last regeneration he'll be a teen or a little boy. And then when the writers find a way to restore his regeneration, he can age forward through his regenerations. This is a thought I was entertaining...I don't mean to ruin the Whoville universe.

Tennant did 4 actual years as the Dr which is longer than many and as long as Pertwee. I think Smith is going to make an interesting Dr as he has an other wordlyness about him which suites this part to a tee. The very best of luck to him and all the new upcoming staff.
