Quite slow to start up? Does that version have a SSD? Should only take like 35 sec to start up with SSD. Dunno about the rest when you first have started it.
oh i know i can tell ya, i got a toshiba satellite A105 and it only lasts 3 hours but i mean 4 hours-6 hours trust me it's nice and comes in handy but all i was saying was it seemed like she was complaining that it was only 6 hours or 4 whatever, lol it's better than the other laptops, some are not even 20 minutes.
Hmmm, I was amazed when I first saw that model. But when you mentioned "additional crap", it sent alarm bells ringing. The amount of useless shit computer companies put on PC's that users haven't a clue about is amazing. You can have a field day removing, blocking and disabling programmes. For 2.8K euro, it looks pretty, but performance is shot.
Definitely, but the question is... How many people are going to bother with that? It's another amazingly designed Sony product, ruined by poor software and 3rd-party crapware.

Agreed, but it's nothing a good formating and a fresh XP-pro install can't fix.
