@MarilleChan Funny enough, it's supposed to be Battler, not Maria. At least it was listed as such where I found it. Which is even funnier, since the pic was around waaay before the anime came up and made everybody blue-eyed not black-eyed like in the game.

If you ask me, it looks much more like Higurashi's Keiichi.

This song reminds me of when Maria reads the letter in episode 1. I absolutely LOVED when it played, because finally, after hours with reading about the family coming to rokkenjima and stuff, the first exciting thing happens. That probably made this song my fave from the first four eps. Haha :D

Love this tune - one of my favorites BGM from the first novel. It's always reminded me a bit of Kefka's theme from Final Fantasy VI (perhaps because there is an OC remix of it that sounded similar, style wise?)

I did, and it was a lot better. Haven't you read the visual novel? That's the music that was used originally when she was reading it. The anime went out of its way to make it "creepy", overall changing the feel of Umineko. Which is why the anime sucks.
