I have to disagree, he is male, part of an all male trio. Although I partially agree that the trio are all somewhat cross dressers when they are in their Amazon trio outfits. However when they are in disguise Tiger's Eye and Hawk's Eye tend to go for a "handsome look". Fisheye is the only one that dresses like a girl when they pretend to be human. That doesn't change the fact that he is male. He'd be a transsexual woman if he had a vagina and breasts...which he doesn't.

Fisheye should be referenced as him in my opinion because that is what makes him unique. Also has anyone made the connection between Fisheye and the animal itself 'the fish' !? A fish can change it's gender whenever it wants to so the name and animal chosen for him was rightfully chosen ;D

@BatteriesDead IIRC Fisheye refers to herself as a woman (there was a scene when she said about her potential victim 'would he like a girl like me' or sth like that and the rest said 'but we are all young men'), so it would mean she's transsexual woman. The rest of the trio are crossdressers btw.

[IMO] They made him a guy to show no harm would come from children knowing what trasgender or homosexuality is.I mean a lot of mainstream anime in Japan had homosexuality subtext (ex;Cardcaptors sakura) yet everyone grew up normal (I assume).

Anyways for starters he is a fish so it doesn't really matter wither or not he is a she.

@potterinu they tried to disguise alot of things in english dub..zoicite was really a guy as well but english dub they made a girl cause of the affection zoicite and kunzite had for each other.. of course they couldn't show gayness to the kids.. same when hakura and michiru (sp?) showed up.. english they are cousins where japanese they are lovers. sucks though. now I have to look for original versions to continue where I left off at since they cancled it sometime after thsoe two showed up. :(

Fisheye is my favorite Amazon Trio member. While I don't consider him a freakshow (although the term fits the Dead Moon Circus in general...) this song suits him nicely.
