I WAS THERE! Right in front. True fans were singing OOOoooOOOoo... not Rararara and they kept it going even when people tried to drown their voice by their hoots, claps, etc. Sang my heart out those 6mins- James even smiled and opened his heart and let the energy flow. It was like being high on music, he best evening ever! AND yes i am from DELHI! Music knows no boundaries ...Like if you agree.

I was there...and been a metallic fan for the last 22 years. I have to agree that this certainly wasn't the first time a crowd has so favorably reacted to the song, as in the singing without James prompting. One can even see a similar response from the crowd at Abu Dabhi, just 3 days ago I believe. The experience,however, was priceless!

This is done in EVERY Metallica concert! This is a well known sing along to the MEMORY REMAINS. James EXPECTED the crowd to sing along. Its not like the band waas shocked or whatever. THey love watching their fans sing that song and everytime JAmes has that Beaming face on him when he watches them do it... U guys seriously need to watch more metallica live videos! @bhavnish22 well look, i've seen quite a few videos, and the memory remains does involve a lot of singing by the audience, but i've rarely seen it continue for so long after the song was done

maybe you're right, it's possible that it occurs quite frequently, but as far as i've seen, the crowd doesn't sing once the song is done, or james rarely encourages the crowd to sing after it's done

No offense but Bangalore crowd didn't even knew Metallica's stage antics. They knew the song but that wasn't enough. For example the Oh Yeah! stuff Hetfield did was normal but they didn't even saw it coming. Hetfield does it everytime.
