It's a good guitar which one can afford to change pickups in the future. However the amp plays the important part in your tone

Can you send me the tab for bothy the solos? Because you play them perfectly and I worked mine out by ear and neither sound entirely right. You played them almost the same as on record, it could almost be James or Kirk ( I don't know who played the solos, I was suprised at many of the solos James actually plays throughout Metallica's !) Btw, I own that same guitar and with that for the small difference in price I'd splashed otu and got the model up :(

May I recommend the Marshall AVT 20. I used that very same Jackson King V with it as well and they sounded very nice together. I also use a Fender Strat, Epiphone Emperor II, and Gibson Les Paul Balck Beauty through it and they all sounded fine as well, It's a really versatile amp with abig sound.

the jackson js king v models are normally around 300, or atleast thats how much mine was, and a few other i seen in stores..

The neck is pretty thin but not like an Ibanez's neck. The colour is metallic red

do you know what the nut material on this guitar is? i might want one: i plan on changing the pickups and putting locking tuners, dressing the frets, oiling the fingerboard, and setting it up so it can play at it's full potential. im buying it as a backup guitar for my ibanez s2170se prestige
