Sorry about your loss my wife & I got our little Maltese 2 years ago, she is our best friend, sleeps between us and is our constant guard and companion, she always is on watch and ready to play or be cuddled.These little dogs are a truly a gift from God, nothing else is like a Maltese.

ur dog is adorable!...... i was thinking about getting a maltese but when i saw images of it when it is an adult, its hair grows all the way to the floor is your ....dog's hair like that and if it is how many times a year do you have to cut it?

oh and is a teacup maltese the same as a maltese? i still dont understand because some comments on other videos say that teacup maltese dogs are not real and some say they are but are just a smaller version of a maltese.

@ddddddddddddddddd495 teacup maltese are smaller then the regular 7-9 pound maltese..and if you wanna keep its hair cut keep them lookin sharp bring them to the groomer once every 2 months

A good way to get rid of the tear stains is by using distilled water for your dog to drink from, instead of tap water. You can use bottled water or even water from a dehumidifier if you have one. I do this and my dogs face is completely white. And btw she is a maltease named Bella too! What are the odds?!

Bella is a Maltese, but I believe she is mixed with something else. She is bigger than a purebred Maltese (Bella is 12.6 lbs.), but smaller than a Bicheon Frise. She may have either Bicheon or Poodle in her, but I do not know. We were told she was a purebred Maltese when she was purchased as a new born puppy in 2004. Whatever she is, she is so cute and adorable!

Bella had her tear ducts drained by the Vet, so that her tears drain properly through the nasal passage instead of pooling and spilling over. We also use Crystal Eye Tear Stain Remover on a cotton pad to wipe the corners of her eyes. This can be done daily or a couple of time per week.
