Dependant upon which State a person is hunting within and exactly which game they are hunting, I think the regulation is 1 mile away from any structure or road if hunting with a rifle and 500 yards away from any structure or roadway if hunting with a bow or shotgun.

@fruitychees First of all, their rifles are not enclosed in a case in a moving vehicle. Secondly, their shooting from the road. Most state laws require you to be 50+ yards away from the center of the road before you can discharge a firearm. I don't think they are poaching, seeing all of them are wearing blaze orange. Then again, I do see a lot of hillbillys wearing their hunting outfit all year round.

@ElbowEyE Dont get me wrong, Because Me and father are one of the hardest working hunters i know (we hike extremely far into the woods and bust our asses) but if you were driving down the road and saw 6x6 or even a 4x4, dont act like you wouldnt get out of your car, step off the road at the very least, and take a shot at it.

Actually its not poaching if it is in season, its road hunting (which drives me crazy when your sitting all day in rain or snow and see the same car drive around in circles all day). And you usually get to keep the deer (if its real) and just get fined. In PA if you get 25yds off of the road it is legal. You still can get it for locating wildlife with a vehicle though. And you can shoot across the road if its above the line of traffic.
