@Adam29101981 Unfortunately, you're not on lead. It needs even more from partner than 7H. The final heart for starters, then the other suits stopped well enough such that the opponents can't take the first 2+.
7hearts... any other bid is idotic.. 2 clubs and when it comes to you opps are in 6 spade/clubs or diamonds.. 7 hearts is a very good slam here even if pd does not have club ace... opps will have to lead the right card so if a pade is the lead and pd has spade ace or diamond lead and pd had diamond ace it wins and if he has no aces and you dont get a club lead opps have to pitch the right aces! any bid but 7 hearts is wrong!
@andreaswilliamp Even if you dodge the lead, any reasonable opponent should be able to work out to hold onto their ace once declarer is known to only have 1 non-heart. Standard count signals should get the job done when it comes to which ace to hold on to if they do have a decision.
3 Hearts, douche

Im a beginner in briodge. Why 6H? Why not 7H? For big slam.

@mogyorospusztai there is only a 1 in 3 chance partner has the ace of clubs.

you didn't shuffle the deck

In fact 2 clubs would be the best bid. Gives you plenty of time to find the grand (if the grand exists)

Acutally - Pass - wait for Opps to bid - than overcall 6H and wait for X

How would you bid that? 6 hearts? Or try to see what your partner has
xgreatking 2 years ago
