If I remember correctly, JKD is supposed to be Bruce Lee's philosophy/thoughts on fighting, while Kajukenbo is more of a self-defense system. Although they both seem to use the "take what's useful, discard what's useless and add your own stuff" ideas. And I think Kaju has more quality control, too--not nearly as many "McDojos" as other arts.
I've been SERIOUSLY considering joining this place. I know there's other Kaju places in town, but my gut seems to be telling me "THIS one, darn you, join THIS one!" .....At least it looks like a nice place to train. :-)
