I've had my eye on that setup on a slightly smaller scale. 4.8 with tranny near me, 600 bucks. 71 monte carlo rolling chassis, 1000 bucks. Junkyard turbo system, nicer cam, and some tuning and I coulld see an easy 500-600 at the wheels.

@abacacus yea those engines are good to make hp, the 71 Monte is a beautiful car lol i was also thinking about getting a 5.3L vortec to put in my monte i saw a video on youtube and its has a big turbo on it and it makes over 600hp...stock internals it said its the fastest stock ls block
