  • they cost like 320 bucks. you can only get them online.

  • wow! fast! i want one!

  • I think DVD burners have stronger diode lasers.

  • how can i make one this powerfull, where did you get the plans?, ive got a blue ray lens and a hd dvd lens ready i just need plans to make one this powerful

  • Comment removed

  • wow fast

  • Eeeeh ?! :-o

  • POPPAAAAAAAAAA!

  • What difference would you expect if you ran this diode at 104ma compared to 125ma. Is there a significant difference?

  • Not really, output power would be reduced by about 15mW and the diode would most likely live a little longer, but the difference isn't something that would be very noticeable

  • their are holes in the ground

  • That the tape i used to keep the balloons from flying awaying when i started to pop them

  • can i use laser diode from PS one???

  • hi, i orders a phr 803t laser diode do you know were i can get a good pre set driver.

  • o-like

  • Headshot!

  • MASACRE ;)

  • what flashlight do u used for this vid?

  • Neither, it is from the HD DVD add-on that was sold seperately from the 360 console.

  • thank you soooo much! now to build... >:)

  • I don't have a closet.

  • lol

  • Can I get some instructions hou to make one of those ? :D XD

  • Would this light up firework fuses? It would be handy to be able to use this instead of looking around if anyone has a lighter.

  • yes I saw a vid doing that

  • where did you buy that 125 mw driver?

  • Awesome ^^....wow that laser pointer is powerful....

  • if 2 batterys could do that imagine what 240Vs could do lol

  • burn out the laser diode, XD

  • lol what if you have 240 diodes O__0

  • now that is what you would call a burning laser light show...XD, all you need is smoke and techno music and you have your self a rave, LOL

  • hahahahaahah good one

  • Omg, that was fast!

  • can you remember the link for the 125 ma driver???

    Cool video.

  • do you think i could get this out of a normal dvd player, not the xbox360 one?

  • Violet laser diodes can only be found in Blu Ray and HD DVD players and burners. If you want a high powered violet laser then you will need the 803T diode like i used in the video or one taken from a Blu Ray or HD DVD burner. Lasers used in standard DVD players use diodes no more powerful than those you would find in a red keychain laser pointer.

  • Ahh. Do you have any extra Blu Ray's or HD DVD players? If so do you think you could do this for me. I'll pay!

  • If you have a 16x DVD burner then you can extract the diode that is even more powerful than this (240mW!).

  • really tell me more

  • hey! I´m trying to get one of thouse but its not easy to find. Is it more powerful??

  • you can find everything you need on ebay.. Cheap Blue-ray, red, green, IR diodes 5mW - 1000mW

  • epic fail

  • I dont have a meter so the mW remains unknown, but i can tell you it runs off 2AA batts with a driver that boosts the voltage to 7.5 volts at about 125ma of current. I got the diode out of a brand new 50 dollar player.

  • Awesome!!, it seems powerful, how many mW is this?. What voltage or batteries do you use to feed the blue ray laser diode?. What is the price of this lasers only?. Thanks ahead of time.

  • did you make that

  • Yes I did

  • I think this ones the Coolest FrigginSmift.. Im miss doing things like that.. and you have a billion more cool toys now lol.. I havent seen these ones Miss ya Swedeo
