this game if I like a lot, but what nome like is that the warrior cries a lot, is very shocking and yelling something feigned, nothing but that detail did not like the game and when it grunts to crush space (USE) appears to is pushing to shit, hahaha, greetings

I just played this for the first time, I got the shareware version and finally playing on a computer that plays well with DOS-BOX. however I still don't think it runs as smooth as yours. Did they ever make any source ports for Shadow Warrior?

Shadow warrior has absolutely the best weapons out of all fps games. I mean c'mon, Katana, double uzis, gatling shotgun, nuke firing missile launcher, sticky bombs, grenade launcher etc. This game is just pure fun compared to most fps:s that are released nowadays. And as someone else mentioned, level design in this and Duke Nukem 3d wipes the floor with other straightforward fps:es.

gotta admit, the kill animations are pretty sweet (especially with the sword!), just wish duke 3d and shadow warrior were combined to make one freakin awesome game! Too bad blizzard sabotaged 3d realms by supplying them with whores, cocaine, and of course: WoW (lol jk, but it kinda makes sense)

the level design in this game is brilliant compared to todays fps. These games thrived on single player and a lot of work was put into making great levels like the ones in this game.

@SonGOKUSSJ6 woops, I misinterpreted the information listed in the movie description: "There were three expansion packs in development, but they were dropped because of disappointing sales compared to Duke Nukem 3D" (as D3D being in direct competition to SW) those drunken 9 months ago when I posted the comment... the games were indeed developed by 3D Realms and even had the same publisher, GT Interactive. SW came out a year or so after, sales were probably poor due to the ageing DOS platform.

I played Blood, but never this game.

Blood was more like Evil Dead, where this was Big Trouble in Little China.

Old FPS games had a lot of character, mostly because they didn't have expansive environments and deep storytelling.  So they needed balls instead.

Happy third anniversary, CuteFloor! I greatly appreciate your work. Shadow Warrior is one of many games from the '90s I wished I had. I know people said this game was bland and was completely hard-coded, but this game was a graphical quantum leap for the Build Engine. Good memories (I've only played the demo a number of times)!
