It seems to me people are not listening to the lyrics of the song & lining them up with scripture. Mary Mary & Kiki aren't saying that they are putting their swag, clothing, and their appeal over people in the limelight. IT'S THE GOD IN ME. So, according to them God has elevated their status so they can have this pull only thru Him because behind the scene they've been faithful in heart, word, & deed.
