It doesn't matter, it's not about that. People like the idea of being able to build and paint their own armies and play against other REAL people. They want something they can hold in their hands and have creative freedom with. You can't do all the things you can do with the models in the game. Besides, the miniatures game was created before video games and computers were as advanced as they are now.

its not only playing the game, i play warhammer for 4 years now, i never played the game before, but i love painting the miniatures i love making terrain and i love collecting a big ass army.......... so its not about playing the game, for me what comes before the game is important, having great terrain to play on and have an awsome army.

and its a great hobby, better than stare at a computerscreen all day with no social contact's

That table was amazing!

It's a really good table. I like that while everything on it is relatively easy to create, it's arranged well, and the colours compliment one-another.

The blue gives an immediate intensity while the red provides a more subtle sense of creeping power, charging the brown.

I personally would have liked to see a little more variation in the crystals, since they seem to be the defining feature; maybe a trapped demon, or something, inside one? There's a lot you can do with gloss transparencies.

nice table layout although reminds me of a location in guildwars called the pockmark flats, has all though blue crystal type monliths bursting out from the ground, excellent but the rivers of blood are more suited for khorne i think ;)

Hmm didnt care for that one too much, I much perfer the orc table. This table may have came off better if the ground was black sand (more contrast) and if there was a few more (smaller) crystal. That was just a bit too stark.
