I seen the Mars Volta live, at the metropolis in montreal and that's true there a very good musician. But the singer have advantage to learn how to push he's voice, because he really destruct the song. But they are very nice live

@canibaldance ... so that when your high on mushrooms and you go into underwater world, his voice with those effects is like woah! it ripples all over the shop... the details they crank in there with these effects is to be heard live on a high dose of something, adds many more dimensions than just cheap effects.

@hippie1685 See them live. I've had the honor of seeing them twice, once in 2008 and once in 2009. Greatest concert I've ever been to. The feeling of seeing them live is just unexplainable in words... Hopefully they do a tour that comes to Arizona again this year.

I think what you consider boring is much better then half the bands out here who take more time in between albums. You have many very talented musicians who take notice of this band and even collaborate with them. The Mars Volta is one of the greatest new bands out. They have only been around for 8 years. They have a while left. You don't know what they are capable of in that time. This music is revolutionary and fresh. It isn't going away, if you don't like it that is your loss.

I fought from the back to the very front in this show. I was literally right in front of Cedric for most of the show (pushed up to the railing!), including this song. I never appreciated this song quite like this before. Conquering the pit was one of the best decisions I've made!
