i got a question, at the end of the day your "magic number" that your trying to hit lets say 160, does that include the grams recieved from a post workout shake? Or does the protein have to strickly come from food?

@BigLeon577 dude you cant get all of your protein from a protein shake. Protein powder is a supplement, you cant just replace a hearty meal with it. Besides your body absorbs protein from meats such as beef or chicken differently than from the powder

What boss is going to let you take atleast 3 food breaks between 9-5pm, cuz its advised not to eat say after 6pm, so u have to do most of your eating before that time! Perhaps u are speaking of light snacks like an apple, or trailmix, or a supplement type shake, how do you get 5-6 meals in before 6pm?

@HuIkSmash I way 200. When you have a meal its not only the meat that has the protein. There is a bit of protein in bread, porridge etc. Also, you can eat a few extra nuts with each meal. Also, eat nuts as a snack with protein shakes if you only want 30g of protein from shakes. Or mix your protein powder with yogurt for some extra protein and carbs.

@salmon443 Yeah no doubt man. Your body takes what it needs and the rest is pissed or pooped out. I believe your body is able to absorb 30grams every 2 hrs.
@endomorph80 eating more protien is more about building muscle than cutting fat. if your goal is to lose fat you need to cut cal not add protein. the "simple" rule is to eat 10 cal per pound you want to weigh. so if you wanna be 230 try eating 2300 cal a day. though since your 350 you can try eating 3000 untill your close to 300lbs then lower it to 2500 then 2300. that way it wont be as drastic of a life style change and you wont go into starvation mode and plateau. good luck.
