I was very young at the time, but in the early 90s I went to the same area (I live in Northern Oregon). We went every year, and we were in our van, and two HUGE herds of wild horses came up along side us... They were wild because there were no fences or signs of civilization to be seen.... They wanted to run with us.... I was so little but I have never forgotten that moment.... I think there may have been 100 plus horses, a few herds that just submerged to one momentarily... spectacular!
Wonderful. You captured one of my favorite Stallions. War Eagle!
