You know what I hate about NinjaTune? They put a lot of distorsion in their music. In their older records you can hear crackles and such. :( They are better now. And most of their artists are awesome!

i think most of the distortion (crackles?) is what the artist chose to put in the song. Lots of hip hop / trip hop / samplers (especially kid koala who plays strictly vinyl i think) use records they found in various stores through out their life, and sampled them directly off of a turn table. it's the records that add the clicks and pops to the music, not the record label. nothing to complain about or hate.

this man is one of the best dj's, period. if you listen to his record, you see that he does some of the sickest mixes, drummings, transformers, crabs, flares, and just regular scratching that he is one of the worlds best dj's, and more importantly, probably the most original.
