  • JOE FUCKIN PERRY

  • I aint done w/ mirrors

...so let the music do the talkin'

  • Your problem buddy!

  • AWESOME GUITAR

  • those guys are too technical and are

interested in shredding and how many notes they can run per-milla-second.

however, they can rip it! and that's cool too!

coming up with badass riffs is a million

times more difficult though...and joe and

brad are geniuses in doing so.

  • 2:55 - 3:07

It sounds like Draw The Line, but faster. XD

  • thank GOD joe came back!

a lot of people gave crespo

a lot of credit.i thought he sucked.

    great album.

    why is it underrated?

    like draw the line.

    two great records!!

  • Crespo wasn't that bad as far as a standard pentatonic player - I thought his solo for Three Mile Smile on the Night In The Ruts album was very good. Don't get me wrong, I love Joe Perry, but it is not like you can put him up there with Paul Gilbert, Steve Vai, Michael Angelo, or Yngwie Malmsteen as far as ability is concerned.

  • yea you can he's mores of a legend then them

  • I loved "Done with Mirrors" when it came out - 'smith was rockin' as hard as the 70s on it and this Joe Perry Project song was a great kick off for the LP. This is the first time I've seen the video - I wonder if Slash got any ideas from the bootlegger with his hat?! :-)

  • One thing that bothers me is that at the beginning and the end of the video, when the song info. is shown, the album is identified as "Done With The Mirrors." The album is called "Done With Mirrors." I may be O.C.D.ing about this, but how could VH1 overlook a detail as significant as the album name?

  • Music changes. This album is damn different than "Aerosmith" or "Get Your Wings." They've changed with the times, but they still kick ass. You can't honestly say that the music business or time or taste don't affect the artists.

  • Pop culture drives pop music especially with a band like Aerosmith whom was the brainchild of the one and only Clive Davis of American Idol lore.

If you ask me, Aerosmith was another one of those bands that "split up malevolently ", doing their best imitation of the Hollywood spin-off, to garner more bang for the buck for the record companies.

Unfortunately their talent , or lack thereof, couldn't carry them "solo" so they had to go back to whoring for the likes of Davis and his ilk.

  • fuck u do not talk trash about the rokin roll gods betch

  • I will say whatever I want because I am hiding behind a computer with no chance of you punching me in the face

I'm a total fucking troll of an asshole

  • Comment removed

  • Pesquise a história deles e verá porque ele mudaram o som, seu trouxa.

  • They were not the brainchild of Clive. Get your shit straight.

  • Why does everyone get so pissed off when I point out the duplicitous nature of the music industry?

  • I think you replied to the wrong person, because I have no idea what you are talking about.

  • essa música é muito boa

  • I gotta know what kind of explorer like guitar Brad is using here? I want one BAD

  • its amazing what drugs can do, but these fellas survived thank god for that,

  • nine lives is also great, and underrated

  • last aerosmith album was pump

  • They recorded years after Joe Perry wrote it. It was on Joe's solo album by the same name first.

  • this is the last album aerosmith was aerosmith

  • Bootlegging 101..LOL

  • Done With Mirrors=underrated. The last truly great Aerosmith record.

  • Yup the last "true" Aerosmith album, before they became corporate drones...altho they did fool me through Pump ;-)

  • I agree, it's not their best, but still an awesome album. I don't think a shitty Aerosmith album exists, the concept is an oxymoron in and of itself.

  • last of the good shit by these guys ,they cleaned up after this, started singing top 40 ballads which makes me wanna hurl

  • Did you know MTV made most of this video without Aerosmith's permission. Aerosmith only made the videos of them. The other clips were made by MTV

  • hell yeah!

  • Great Joe riff.

  • Got 1 for money!

    2 for the show!

    3 for my honey

    and 4 to everthyeahyeahYEAH

  • awesome song :)

  • Dam. I was in this video...somewhere...24 years ago. there were only about 60 people in the audience. We shot from 8:00pm until 4:00am at the Orphium. Must have heard them do this song 200 times. They played a little private show for us too. Shot 6 'live' vids the next day.

  • This video was shot at the "Orpheum Theatre" in Boston, Ma.

  • joe perry is freaking hot!! he origanally wrote this song, then Aerosmith covered it in 1985! a brillant

  • Omg. Brilliant idea! A Glass-Guitar :D

  • Omg. Brilliant idea! A Glass-Guitar :D

  • this song is fkn awesome

  • nate klergie video is funny

  • first saw aerosmith in 1975...they still kick ass...

  • awesome aerosmith

  • Let The Music Do The Talkin'....says it all!

  • one of the best song of ever

  • i dont know which is better this one or the joe perry project one

  • I agree, but I always envisoned Steve singing it when I first heard it.

  • Alice In Chains was the same way. It's a shame that the best music comes from being messed up on heroin. This song is proof. Hands down my favorite Aerosmith song. Miles above all the radio pop induced crap they put out now.

  • I think the Konks version rocks much better,2 cheap guitars & 2 lousy drums!

    Cheers Rev Tony & COCO.

  • When Aerosmith truly rocked. Their best song, hands down! Joe Perry just lets it all fly in this tune. Good job boys....wish you could get back to this type of rock & roll! When it came from the soul & you played for yourselves.

  • total agreement from me mersinc!

  • I love Permanent Vacation! And Janie's Got a Gun is a great song...

Anyway, this video is so cool :D

  • Wow, all the way back to when they were a real rock band.....

  • I think they rock anyway, the cd permanent vacation is not gay at all

  • its funny... in 1985 Aero was as good as dead sorta kinda, and just a few months later in 1987 they exploded back onto the commercial scene with PV and back into the running! Heck, theyve been around so long that 1987 was them at mid-career, and Aerosmith is STILL around and rockin!!

  • Ahh yes. When Aerosmith rocked for real. Just before that gay Permanent Vacation, Janie's got a gun crap. They thought badly of this time period because they were so messed up on heroin but the music was still good.

  • Awesome song...awesome video...GREATEST BAND EVER!!!!

  • agreee
