  • Nice shot and nice recording. Im supprised he ran as far as he did

  • Pingpong49426.... Bend over with your shot. Dont just aim derectly. Taking a shot from your stand like you would on the ground gurentees a high shot. Bending over keeps your bow perfectly aligbed with your body and makes sure you shoot straight

  • that mother fucker went flying

  • Not bashing you but it's better to let those small ones grow up. Who knows, could have been the next world record.

  • at :27 you can hear the sucking chest wound.

  • Nice video man bet he was tasty

  • Awesome footage dude! Checkout some of my hunting videos!

  • Why did u shoot the little nubby buck instead of the big doe?

  • @specracerboy Better eating!

  • is this self flimed

  • @thetimetohunt Yes it is. I like to call it self recorded. Film is a much more complicated process. Can't stand to hear the so-called pros on TV say "we filmed it" when most of them have never even seen a film camera.

  • friggin tracking at night screw that i can barely do it in the day!

  • they who who are critical of this man,are just jealous that they have neither the skill or the brains to bow hunt. way to go outdoorbound

  • @121126 Thank you!

  • i like your video @TheOutdoorBound !! I have a question for you...how do you tell the difference between a button buck and a doe? Last year I shot one thinking it was a doe till I went to field dress it. lol

  • @pingpong49426 If you get em in close you can see the nubs on their head. You will learn with time.

  • @TheOutdoorBound Button bucks will generally be single deer and be quite stupid. If they aren't acting spooky and are alone chances are its a button buck

  • @TheOutdoorBound oh also this year was my first year hunting from a stand, a 16 ft ladder stand...i've read forums online to aim where you want to hit and that is where the arrow should go. Well I've missed 2 deer this year...first deer aimed at lungs, missed over the back...next aimed at around heart/lung section hit high above the spine in the tenderloin area...both were around 20-23 yards. I feel like I have to aim at the belly line...is this normal??

  • @pingpong49426 Just make sure you use the right site.. When your aiming from an elevated position it's actually a longer distance than it seems.. If he's 20 yards from the tree use the 30 yard site pin.

  • @pingpong49426 button bucks have square head tops and doe fawns have ike a rounded head between ears

  • @pokeraholic5 Why don't you worry more about your spelling and let us Illinois boys keep doing our thing.

  • was it still breathing when you found it or dead, and where did the arrow hit, im interested in hunting although ive never been but id still love to try it even if i was useless

  • @XxnordlyxX It was dead when I got to it. I hit him just behind the front sholder.

  • Looked like meat on the table to me! I would have busted him too:)

  • What an advantage you have there you can have a party out there so much bug noise ---Here you reach for your bow and you`ve blown it no noisy sounds here maybe a crow even then . nice shot .

  • Nice job! Meat in the freezer! I loved the production. It ain't easy to video a bowhunt!

  • a doe or a button, both means bad juju

  • very nice shot

     and good job

    very nice vid

  • Well done mate, awesome shot,Best of luck for the next one mate.

  • I sure miss hunting whitetail in Central IL. I just couldn't stand the fucking gun laws in IL anymore and had to move. I took my fair share of whitetail in McLean county through the eighties and nineties though. Nice job :)

  • Nice hunt my friend! A clean shot and a quick death. Let me add my name to the ranks of hunters who have shot a button by mistake. I have to agree, young deer taste pretty darn good. Hope to film my buddy taking a big boy this coming season. Will post anything worth viewing.

  • whats your draw

  • @greatsantini7 Not sure exactly however I like to shorten up my draw for hunting. Remember shorting your draw will improve your accuracy while overdrawing can be a cause for poor shooting. I believe I have my bow set somewhere around 29 inches.

  • nice shot im 14 and shot about 10 deer with a bow includin 4 or 5 button buck if its brown its down baby meat in the freezer what kind of bow my bow comes in in 2 weeks a matthews z7 extreme

  • Nice shot!! I have shot Button bucks before thinking they were doe's, but they tasted very good! Good job!! bowhunter1515

  • @DeliberateCruelty So sorry you feel that way.

  • @DeliberateCruelty let me ask you something....people that do not hunt are "innocent"? A person who simply eats a salad kills more wildlife and habitat than those who go out and harvests a deer for their food source. how do you get your salad? You have to plow land and fields and kill off thousands of creatures, and if that doesn't get rid of it chemicals are used to rid of living creature for their "vegetables". "killing" is inevitable and YOU nor I can say we don't.

  • @pingpong49426 alot of property that you get to hunt in farmland is farmers who want you to shoot deer or geese that are eating the organic crops they sell to vegitarians and vegans. Works for me , vegetarians can feel all high and mighty about how they love the earth , and i can actually get to interact with it and shoot free range venison

  • @chillnshred agreed......i don't like commenting the way I do in reply to another's post...but it just bugs me when people are telling us hunters that we're going to hell for the "sins" we are doing (harvesting deer). They have a right to their opinions and I probably should just shrug it off but I feel like we need to stand up ourselves. Accusing us for something they do themselves (maybe indirectly) just sees them as hypocritical....

  • @DeliberateCruelty since you believe in hell you must believe in God so it says in the bible for us to use whats on the earth for what we need to bow hunting isnt cruel neither is hunting or trapping in general.

  • @DeliberateCruelty No pits in hell for us "Now therefore take, I pray you, your weapons, your quiver and your bow, and go out to the field, and take me some venison" Genesis 27 :3

  • @xXTurkeyThug AMEN!!! If these so called animal lovers would read their bible. What cracks me up is these are the first people to complain about a deer going through their grill on there 70, 000 dollar car and wants to condem us for doing what god intended us to do with deer, HUNT AND EAT THEM!!!

  • @xXTurkeyThug I guess I need to freshen up on my scripture... Nice quote man ;)

  • @DeliberateCruelty ............ Go Fuck youself and hug a poison sumac bush ..... idiot

  • @DeliberateCruelty hunting is a way of life and a passion for many. why would you watch something that disgusts you??? do you cry for the cow while eating your big mac? bow hunting is more humane than a slaughter house.

  • keep willingly shooting the buck potential in your area nice real nice......fricken newbie

  • @pokeraholic5 Let me tell you I'm no "newbie" . I shot my first buck with a bow 29 years ago. I have probably let more rack bucks walk under me than you have ever seen. Many of them most hunters would have shot. Don't be so quick to criticize. You don't even know me.

  • @TheOutdoorBound:) You tell um Brother!!!! I don't think it's their bussiness if their not hunting your farm... Just sayin..... They do taste gooooood don't they!!!!! Shoot what ya want and they can go eat the store bought meat.....lol Goooood video!!!!!! I mean a gooood one.....

  • @pokeraholic5 Bucks that size are the best eating.. I hunt for food and the enjoyment of learning the habits of nature, not trophy racks.. Anyone who hunts for a rack is a fucking moron....

  • dude thats pathetic deer management.......shooting button bucks for real....your why there arent that many giant deer running arung cause you yahooos shoot all the young 1's ...nic wall hngerlmfao you rag

  • @pokeraholic5 I shoot one button buck and i'm "pathetic". I will tell you he was very tasty.

  • Smoked it, Thats the way you do it!

  • looking good

  • @ericanderis Thanks!
