I am going collage on a course I can do gel nails with my eyes closed. Just learning acrylic now I am getting better and this video is brill helps me do the nails as I have all the stuff
Hi! Couldn't see that you were using c-curve sticks and a pinching tool, I just wonder if you edited that part out, or you never use those equipments? I'm not asking to sound like a "know-it-all", because I'm just a nailtech-student myself, but we've learn that we should use those things while sculpting acrylic on forms.. And if you never use those things, I just wonder why? :)
Hi i have one question i bought a KISS ACRYLIC kit and i wanted to know if you don't have the gel sealer and the UV lamp can you finish the nails with a basic top coat
Lynn, these are beautiful. How "wet" is the clear/pink ball that you are using? It's amazing to me that the size ball you use is enough to cover the entire nail, but it is and they look flawless. I seem to have problems where it's not enough product when I go to stroke it out. Also, why would I get shadows in my white? I can sometimes see the nail underneath and I'm not sure if I'm just applying unevenly or maybe not enough white? FYI, I'm a cosmetologist adding nails to my skills. Thanks.
WOW what an awesome job! I am starting class in a few months. I have worn nails for almost 20 years and love them so I decided to do something I love. I can hardly wait to start!!! My ? is did you come out with your only line of product? Where can I get it and also.... lol Do I have to login to myspace to find out about your "live" classes?
This is the best video I've seen for applying white acrylics! Is there a link you can provide for your Organic nail products? Would love to purchase. Thanks again for a very well-done tutorial! :-)
@Rondita1 Thank you. Sorry but I am unfamiliar with Organic nail products. Maybe I should start my own product line. Its hard to find a good product with good education, it's mostly the same old story, shotty product with education from people that don't know what they are doing. It's like a curse.
@lynnberry1972 Hi - Know what? I mixed you up with another artist (I was viewing several back and forth) so I apologize! :-) You should start your own product line - sponsors are looking for such ones like you to back. I would be a faithful customer! And you're right about the 'product'. If you're experienced, you can get the same results with most products. However, I am always looking for the 'next best thing' and would love to know what you do use. Thanks for the reply!
@lynnberry1972 I love it, great job I 'd like to one day reach a level, you could give your brand of acrylic or an official website or purchase products thank you has soon
Fungus is also caused by nails lifting and water getting trapped between the nail and the acrylic/enhancement, which is a great environment to grow fungus.
Hey i have a question nd need it tu be answered asap plis... What's the difference b/w getting acrylic or sculptured? Like which on is better nd why, which one is more expensive nd why, nd which one do most ppl prefer. Plis answer my question asap... Thanx =)
Very nice wooow!!! what type of acrylic and monomer do u use, i have used ones that gets dry very fast so what can you recommend me to use i really appreciate the help if its ok to ask ..
@00ettez I like using brand Organic. Its awesome. Its a little expensive but its so worth it. One you use it everything else seems like crap. lol funny but true.
I do my own acrylics but lately they keep lifting within a few days... I make sure that the product doesnt touch the cuticle, I buff the nail and I use dehydrate. Any suggestions?
i love this vid thank you for sharing! im in the prcess of getting this dwn & locked...but good ness i need to work on my smile line some times i fade the pink into the white...grr
omg,i have never seen this before, i was watching your video with my mouth open,so gorguess made, really your good at this, here in holland you only see nailtips put on,and then they brush some powder on it etc,but you omg amazing job wow

i have read all the comments and i came to know that you recomended hema monomer but i have a question where can i get this monomer while i live in uk......and second one is primer necessory?

I just love how you make it look easy. I play this video at least once a day or not more and I do my own nails while watching you. I hve gotten so much better thank you for showing us your talent.
@Sjodaqueen I do not promote any particular brand but I will say this, the powder is polyethylmethacrylate and the liquid is HEMA. Basically, it is average everyday liquid and powder that you can purchase at most any beauty supply store. It's really all the same.
Hi Lynn, i have a question for you. What acrylics do you recommend for sculpting?. The reason i ask is because i tried to sculpt on a friend the other day and within a few hours the acrylics came off. Do you think it was because of my acrylic application or product or both?. Would really appreciate if you answer because you're my inspiration, thanks!
More than likely it is your prep work rather than the other two. Most acrylic will stick if the prep work is done correctly. The acrylic I recommend is anything with a HEMA monomer.
Not the one in the video, its too yellow. I have my own product now that I will be promoting very soon that is custom tailored to my style, and meets my criteria for high end sculpts.
@PuppyLong97 yes, but don't wear them alot and be careful. when you put them on it doesn't let your nail breath. causing fungus getting trapped in the nail's pores so then they get infected and if not treated it can split your nail apart... literally!
The black part, is a sculpture guide .. You can also use it , as a Groundlayer , instead of The tip , for at more Natural , thinner , slekker look .. But ts diffucult.

I've been doing nails for over 20yrs. and it may looks eezy! U don't just start off with them looking like Lynn's nails or even anything close. GREAT job Lynn!
Thanks. I know the music is not good at all but it was the best Movie Maker offered and I didn't want salon noise in the background. Plus, I never thought my vid would be this popular.

Brilliant nails- you are amazing - bad bad music...

Thanks. I know the music is not good at all but it was the best Movie Maker offered and I didn't want salon noise in the background. Plus, I never thought my vid would be this popular.

Hey, as I said amazing nails- I will just turn down the volume next time- you go girl!!
I use entity and Adore it. I find it very temperature sensitive dont you?
here in Australia it can get very hot and it sets up too fast so we need to work with it so wet.
But it really really stays on!! Keep up the good work- why not do a french rebalance on U tube?
