This is going to be really small thought but you never mentioned about the trick on sliding upwards on hills. I think you can only do it while having a yoshi i believe. But when you're on a hill just hold down and towards the hills direction and you should slide upwards.

I discovered the secret in a guide to Larry's Castle early on. But I also read other guides and I'm just amazed at the several other guides I read that didn't mention that secret.

It was like well over 50% of the guides didn't know about that secret. In fact one guide mentioned castle #7 as Harry's Castle.

I'm talking about published guides from 1993 and 1994, the day before the Internet.

I'm not sure if you showed it or if someone said this before but there's a 3-up moon in Chocolate island 1 near the end where the flying block comes and there's tons of rhinos in a crescent shaped floor. Fly straight above that.

Something you missed was after gaining yoshi wings on any level with them your green/red/yellow yoshi will become a blue(flying) yoshi

there is another secret!!! not to be mean or anything slimkirby but hrer is another secret to hand out. there is a certain place in the top secret area on the 2 blocks on the right where you jump and you go in!!!after that you see a goal you get a 1up but no points. then another level will appear called "???" go in and you will get a new type of powerup, the laser flight suit!!! yes only seen in that level i think. or you get from any feather after doing"???". i am not quite sure!!!=P

out of all the special levels i would have to say that tubular was the hardest level for me.died a whole lot of times and right ate the end the game messed up.i was really pissed and drouped the f bomb.

Very nice LP of the whole game!

The secret I remeber the most is the secret exit of the Cheese Bridge stage. For a long time I was wondering where I could find those Torpedo Ted's (shown in the credits) in the game^^

You missed the 1-Up game in Morton's Castle, You have to fly by the Twimps at the start of the Castle :p
