Btw, I have FF1+2 DOS, and I use the power peninsula only after I have at least one offensive lv3 spell. After I meet that criterion, I train my characters there, AND I use the place to nab massive money. Next time you play through the power peninsula, try towait until you have Fira and Diara before you do.

I went here at level 15, first try I ran into 9 Winter Wolves.

They all attacked one after another and they all used Icestorm.

I was fucking raging.

Really good place for power-leveling... I reached lv50 with this method. XD

The key is to cast Shell on your mages and Temper on your attackers. Against Winter Wolves, the best thing to do is to cast Fira on them (from Elfheim, go back to the peninsula).
