You can do rolling crystal 3x in a row if you start with hard punch, medium punch then light punch. There's not garuntee that they will all hit, but it can be done.

dont get too excited. If you remove the mask, its a risk. Even though you deal more damage, you recieve more damage... and it doesnt matter if your opponent knocks it off or if you remove it yourself...

you take more damage, but, if you are without that mask, but has the claw, you ALSO give more damage (20% more damage) =)

for example, sometimes, when I intend to use the ULTRA, i remove my mask first... =)

To refresh... My point is while vega is blocking, the claw comes off. So, if you sustain enough damage, remove the claw and pick it up. This prevents vega's claws to remove automatically. Sorry for my english, I hope this helps.

Yeah u do charge. As soon as you do the second High punch immediately Charge for the Izuna Drop. I didn't realize But you can Combo 2 Cosmic heels together and get in the Izuna Drop. AS 1 combo.

I am learning to use Vega more and more. People usually try to close up on Vega but that is a bad move because Vega is a monster in normal close combat. Dodge back then imediately start crouching light punch and heavy sweep then heavy claw which sends them flying. Then follow with your bercelona arttack.

Down-back charge, FADC forward, down-forward, down, down-back then top-forward or top-back and 3x kicks.

It is hard and you gotta do it fast or else you lose the charge. This also works with the super version and Guile.

I main Guile and play Vega sometimes when I'm in a speedy mood.

Great video here. I main Vega and any time I can learn new things is a good thing. I am currently in G1 so the more knowledge the better.

Also, IMHO it takes far more skill to get a character like Vega up the ranks then it does a character like Sagat or Ryu. Just my .02 cents.

He used the EX Flying Barcelona Attack but instead of pointing directly up as it reads in the command list, he did it top-left to jump to the left wall. In that way, he did the knee attack to send Dan upwards. Izuna drop is done the same way like it reads in the command list...

I love that air throw. I was always successfull with that move. The only thing I would have major trouble on in this demo is that EX move out of a block. I have serious trouble with that skill. Vega sure is fun though. Is he still considered the lowest on the tire? There seems to be a few people dismissing Vega as being low tier. I disagree.

For one, Vega is easily stunned. He is hindered by his slower speed compare to his former self, making him easier for turtles to punish him. The whole losing mask & claw thing pretty much introduces a high risk vs little reward situation, while the latter negates Vega's reach game, one of the main things he has going for him beside the command evasive move and his air grab. I wish Capcom can balance him out a bit.

Awesome video. Learned a few things myself watching this, specifically counters to E. Honda/Blanka/Balrog. Maybe you put them in intentionally because those are the big 3 that I have the lowest win/lose ratio against in console multiplayer matches. Blanka's forward roll blocked leaves him safe and causes considerable chip damage to Vega. Glad to see normal moves can get the job done if timed correctly. Definitely gonna break this down when I have the time. Much thanks.

Awesome video :) Really nice combos. Vega's EX Flying Barcelona seems like an awesome tool which I severely underuse. Only time I seem to use it is after DF+HK, as seen in one of your combos. Trying to fly to your desired wall using a 360 controller is a bit haphazard, and mistakes cost EX. Any tips for travelling the right way?
