Thread the Erlbacher Gearhart Knitting Machine

I have an old Gearhart machine that appears to be in good condition. I have followed the threading on this video, but the yarn builds up around the needles instead of knitting and going down in cylinder. What is the problem?

@nmarie1167 you need to have tension on your yarn; your machine should have come with weights on a hook. those can be installed once you crank around once or twice by hooking it into the middle of the 'web'
