@Surfswith1handfaping Overall it isn't a bad game so I would not wait if you were wanting to purchase it. Regarding the advancement, you cannot compare 'Mario' to Skyrim. When they were released systems were a lot simpler with less that could go wrong, this is a challenge for a game like Skyrim, all the QA testing in the world may not uncover some problems. If you dont live in the UK you'll have to google 'consumer rights' in ur country, i suspect most countries will have similar consumer rights so its worth checking .... KNOW YOUR RIGHTS .
for example if you buy a TV or DVD player or console Etc , & have a 1 year warranty & it brakes after 2 years, you ARE still entitled to a refund ( in UK )
as its considered unacceptable for something costing around £300+ to not last at least about 4 years, warranties aren't ur Only protection
I was kind of disappointed to find out that "dragons not attacking" was a bug. The few times it happened to me was a stroke of my ego. I actually thought they were scared of me because of all the others I had killed. When one flew to the far off mountains, I shouted "run you coward run." :)
@dalendria Me too, for a short time I believed dragons thought of nothing more intimidating than a stalk-like dark elf low on magic and about to die to bandits... oh well, at least I have the memories!
The head of the UK's trading standards has publicly stated that anyone who buys a game that contains bugs is entitled to a full refund from the retailer even if the game and its contents have been used (to find out if it is buggy)
If any store refuses to offer a complete refund mention "The Sale of Goods Act 1979 " and should the store still not comply just contact your local trading standards office as soon as you can.
Arrows still float in the sky, the PS3 version still has a shitty framerate, the 360 version still has shitty textures, the PC version still has a shitty interface, dragons still sometimes don't give souls, and to top it off they added in NEW FUCKING BUGS while still not fixing the old ones. Now elemental resistance is completely broken in every single aspect and fucking dragons fly backwards because of behavioral scripting problems.
I guess you are using Steam, aztek. Well, that is, unless you pirated the game... If, however, you ARE using Steam, it should update when you try to run the game.
As for the bugs addressed.... I've only ever had the issue with spinning dragons - guess I've been lucky.
My game has no glitches or patches yah

Well I glad I waited to see what platform I wanted to get it on. I guess I'll pick up the $20 ver in a year or so.
Advanced my ass...Mario never needed a patch or DLC. NES never needed a firmware update.
