So the DreamCast version is alright, the N 64 is alright but for some reason all of the Midway games in PS suck ASS (yes this includes RUSH)

I disagree for the most part.

The PSX version of Hydro Thunder is the ONLY home version of the game with dual analog controls. Once you play like that, you can't go back to buttons. Mortal Kombat Trilogy and Mortal Kombat 4 were great too (though the PC versions are the same, but with shorter load times).

I agree about Rush though. Terrible controls on the PSX.

@elbryan42 So whats the point of Dual Analogs? I seem to play the N 64 version fine. What I hate is that they get quality downgrade by ALOT. It doesn't look the same and the physics arent either the same. As for Mortal Kombat well...I really never cared for MK.

P.S. I have this game on the PS2 in "Midway Arcade Treasures" and is sweet I love Hydro Thunder and if they would make another remake please god let it be made by Criterion Games!

The PSX version's the only version with dual analog though. :) After you get used to it, you can't play without having your throttle as the right stick.

This game is fu¢kin AWESØME it should go on Virtual Console (N64 version), PlayStation Network (PS1 ver.), and on XBOX LIVE ARCADE (DC version)

Yea, the graphics wernt that great for a PS1 game, but the control and gameplay was beautiful, and really, Gameplay and Controls make a good game, so this version is pretty much the best.

Ship Graveyard: It's a pretty cool course. I like the course for some reason, even though it's a pretty tough course to get 1st.

Venice Canals: Shortcuts are necessary to get 1st? ...-retries 10 times-

New York Disaster: Decent course; though, the brown water doesn't look very pleasant. I'll be honest; I didn't know a meteor crashed into NYC when I was a kid.

Overall: Very good courses, but Midway may have made them a bit too tough. btw what happened at 2:35? o_O

The Hard Boats

Cutthroat: Hard to steer; I'm not an entire fan of the boat, but I like its design.

Rad Hazard: It's a UFO! I use this one when I don't want to use Tidal Blade, because I enjoy playing as Rad Hazard (I use Atomic Avenger in H2Overdrive a lot).

Razorback: Hard to control, but I somewhat like the boat. Kinda reminds me of Midway though.

Overall: Hardest boats to control, but they have some of the coolest designs.

To do a jump you throttle down and press your booster.

This game actually has some nice backgrounds. For the version with the worst graphics, it's pretty decent. I still prefer Jet Moto, though.

and yeah graphics on the arcade machine is so much better
