  • excellent observation as usual aaron, what makes the occupy movement strong is the lack of leaders who could be bought or forced, at the same time it is its achillesheel

  • He is right. No movement succeeds just by a congregation of angry people. Protests have to be well thought out, and strategically carried out.

Ghandi did not succeed just by mobilising people, he smartly made his followers do things like boycotting certain produce. Same for martin luther king, who successfully channelled the energies of his movement to achieve political aims.

Congregations which have tons of energy, but no direction will be just a waste of energy.

  • Very good video, you made some very good points and I agree with you.

  • ANYONE ELSE THINKING ABOUT RON PAUL AS YOU READ THE 3 POINTS HE MADE ABOUT WHAT WE REALLY NEED? RON PAUL 2012!!!! ^_^

  • rawrrr! claws out :-P i strongly disagree - Occupy and Tea Party havent failed. they have awakened thousands, possibly millions of people to the way the world really is!

the whole yabba about christian, democrat etc is irrelevant. its the slaves VS masters, simple as that :-D PS liked ur Dollar & Euro collapse video btw

  • Check out Noel Ignatiev's speech at Occupy Boston!

    /watch?v=BFj63NShxsw

  • Ron Paul's plan includes the same three ideas in this video.

  • Great Video Aaron!!!

  • Hey dumbass StormCloudsGathering, you're out of touch and too late!!!! OWS IS A SUCCESS!!! You're just a hater who likes to throw stones after the fact. If Freedom were left up to StormCloudsGathering, we'd still be washing the Queen's feet. Any second now, StormCloudsGathering is going to showgirl her way into a rousing chorus of the problem in America is niggers with welfare cadillacs.

  • @occupationamerica Calm down kid, his not bashing OWS.

  • Must ban ALL special interest groups from donanting to politicians--corporations, unions and groups like the Sierra Club, etc. Canada has a good idea: Only real live people can donate, and with a fairly low individual cap.

  • Kewl....I also oppose the bi-partisan crimewave in Washington: occupationamericadotcom

  • @corvusblog bailing out banks isn't true capitalism. Corporations aren't the problem, its big government that causes all the shit OWS complain about and they want more tax!

Money's not the issue - power is. When people at the top get greedy for power not money they support socialism because it gives them centralised power.

  • This video has mama's basement boy penis written all over it.

  • This country isn't under socialist control. What we suffer under is a corporate fascism and pure lawlessness. You sound like a dumbass birther. Do you want to see Barack Obama's birth certificate?

  • Conservative ideals my ass. Do you earn more than $150,000 a year?

  • @corvusblog I will tell you my story. I bought my first small business when I turned 26. I worked 6 days a week 12 hours a day for almost 9 years. Nobody asked me to, nobody helped me. I did this because I had a vision of where I wanted to be. I then sold my building to a large grocery store chain. I now sit on my cash because of people like you that don't think I pay my fair share. I have paid more taxes than anyone of my friends And I have sacrificed more of my precious time. Go figure!!!!!!!

  • @awakenedcolt Hey Awakened Colt...why don't you wake up and stop pissing on others!!! You act like you're the only person who ever worked hard. Go fuck yourself, AwakenedDickhead!!! Go fuck your self-centered, smarmy-mouthed ass! I hope the Lord afflicts you with disease, famine and death for condescending on others less fortunate than you. I'd beat your ass sideways if you tried to talk that do good shit to my face.

  • @occupationamerica Wow I guess I hit the nail on the head with you. You really don't have a clue do you?

  • @awakenedcolt Is this your reasons for voting conservative on your liberal income? Is that the sound of reality breaking the surface? or the sound of your little red wheels falling off your Little Red Wagon: face it son, you've been had by the GOP.

  • @occupationamerica I think we all have been had for quite some time now, by both sides. Unfortunately I only started paying attention about years ago. Prior to that I was sadly unaware of how bad things had gotten.

  • @occupationamerica I tried to educate my employees with the incentive that my father gave me. I treated everyone of my customers with the respect that they gave me. You are a plague that is destroying this once great nation. You rely on a government that is playing you like a fiddle. I realize that the republican party is a joke and it hasn't been truly conservative for decades now. Why don't you go occupy your own life and let the adults repair what is left of freedom. Go look up true parasite

  • @occupationamerica Just look at your life!

  • @awakenedcolt My life is LIBERALLY FANTASTIQUE!!! I'm driving my welfare cadillac and wearing my Goodwill clothes and eating food I bought with FOOD STAMPS you paid for and I'm having a LOVELY TIME at your expense. You can thank Republicans for that.

  • @occupationamerica Yes because they reached across the isle to stroke your penis.

  • @awakenedcolt Your Republican AND Democratic Party comrades have you paying for all kind of shit you hate to pay for. I don't support the bi-partisan crime wave in Washington like you do.

  • @occupationamerica I don't either, I just realize that a new party will only give certainty to Obama's reelection.

  • @awakenedcolt Listen son, according to you, the problem isn't FATCAT Republicans and Democrats: no, according to you the problem is Niggers Driving Welfare Cadillacs. Lovely.

  • @occupationamerica Is that the only line you have?

  • @awakenedcolt Mission Accomplished. now go pay your bi-partisan taxes to your partisan ideologues.

  • @occupationamerica thats the nice part, I have made my money. Except for my house I have not paid one dime in over 3 years.

  • @occupationamerica No, not the problem just one result caused by the problem.

  • You're so effin' out of touch with mainstream America and reality, you didn't even know that in the eight swing states that register votes by party, over 350,000 Republicans have left the Republican Party. (USA TODAY) I'm the liberal/progressive mainstream America kicking your dying conservative ass. You're a hater and We The People know it. occupationamericadotcom Put a fork in Republicanism/Conservatism, because it's done.

  • @corvusblog It also says that democrats are leaving at a higher number (800,000). Please read the whole story and stop trying to spin it.

I agree it is Fascism that is going on today but socialism is not going to fix it. Capitalism works but it has not been in practice here for a long time. End the Central banks and fascism will start to fail.

  • @TawlV You are the one spinning, not me. Why do you attempt to characterize me as Democrat or pro-Democrat? I am an Independent. Apparently it is YOU who didn't read the whole story because it says independents are rising more than Democrats or Republicans. That was and remains my point. You shouldn't have assumed I was a Democrat.

  • @corvusblog if you are independent that is fine but you make the statement that the Republican party is dying and forget to say that the Democrats are also losing at a higher amount. In no way did i say you are a democrat or not. I was simply pointing out that your statement was missing the loss of the other party. Please reread what i wrote i NEVER said you were a democrat. I know you said you are liberal/progressive which tends to be democrat but still i never said you were.

  • @corvusblog It amazes me that people like you are so dense, Your parents must be proud! This country hasn't had a true free market since the New Deal. The simple difference between you and I is, I just want to be left alone. You on the other hand like the rest of the idiots want to interject your views on us to make things"fair" because you cant survive on your own. Look at your life and you will know what I mean. Get out if you don't like our country, don't change what works.

  • @awakenedcolt What's amazing is how dumbasses like AwakenedColt thinks he's better than others but is such a supreme dumbass, he doesn't realize he is conservative IN NAME ONLY, SINCE HIS LIBERAL INCOME DOESN'T SUPPORT HIS CONSERVATIVE FANTASY AND VOTING RECORD.

  • @corvusblog I'm far from out of touch, your problem is like some of my liberal friends is that you believe everything you read. America is slowly waking up and finally seeing their country being destroyed slowly by jealous people like you. Please read your history, Socialism hasn't worked anywhere that its been tried. I'm gonna take a guess and say that you are from California or NY. I don't blame you for your blindness, its all in how you were raised. Can you define true conservatism??????????

  • @awakenedcolt You don't know what in the hell you're talking about. You hate work that's why you're so worried someone else getting "something for nothing." The Lord has a special place in hell for jackasses like you. You are a certified dumbass because you earn less than $250,000 a year, but vote for policies that exclusively benefit those who earn MORE THAN $250k a year. This makes you a certified dumbass for voting AGAINST your own economic interest.

  • @occupationamerica Your jealousy is all over your face.

  • @awakenedcolt Your Conservative appetite belies your liberal budget. Your kind is all too common. Republicans love dumbasses who vote conservative, but earn as a liberal. Typical dumbass CONSERVATIVE IN NAME ONLY!!

  • @occupationamerica My kind created that computer that you are spewing your jealousy on to. What have you accomplished in life besides stupidity. I worked in the inner city you shmuck, I watched the system being abused every day. The policies that you support create dependancy.

  • @awakenedcolt I bet you start voting your own economic income level and interest from now on.

  • If Republicanism/Conservatism was a brand, they'd pull it off the shelf. Boy howdy, this Nov, Republicans are going to be driven from office in record numbers. Conservatism my ass. I'm old enough to know what those goddamn conservative Congresses did to America. More Americans are renouncing their former parties and registering independent.

  • @corvusblog you are spewing baseless platitudes. Record numbers like last nov? was that a fluke or are the people that actually make the country go round waking up? Last time I looked teeter totters are missing a seat in the middle. pick a side buddy. Either you are for freedom or you are not. Its really that simple.

  • @corvusblog I listen to both sides and no I'm not paid. What other nation has created as much wealth and prosperity as the U.S.A in the last 100 years?.Sitting in the middle and compromising is how the rinos allowed this country to fall under socialistic control. You keep telling yourself all that garbage tho! I don't even no where to start with you. You clearly don't know why this nation is failing and fast. Well I'll tell you, its the hand outs, I have watched it unfold before my very eyes

  • This is the sound of conservatism dying. This guy either really believes the horsecrap right-wing propaganda he spouts or was paid by conservatives to publish this deceptive pro-conservative pile of crap. Either way, everything he said was untrue, partially true or a gross distortion of the facts. I have thousands of hours experience in real politics over a period of years; this guy sound like he was paid to talk pro-conservative crap thinly-veiled as "objective speak." 100% Garbage.

  • Good points, especially the Three Points. This needs repeating.

  • I think you are forgetting that unions contribute more money than do corp. Unfortunately the unions are using tax payer money to do so. Corp(s) are people using private money to contribute. I think you missed the mark by a long shot by leaving out unions in your choice of 3. Take for example a corp of one or two people, can they contribute? if so at what number would YOU cut them off? and who would decide?......... Ows is a product of todays jealous society with very little common sense.

  • LOVE your THREE POINTS

  • you WILL fail! You will fail!

  • You're fucking stupid Aaron.

Prediction requires projection and you obviously cannot see into the heart of people.

But I will say that your attempt at gaining attention once in your life is working for now.

  • It's usually the people with the extreme views that have the audacity to get up off their fucking ass and take to the streets. The so called moderates are too busy watching dancing with the stars and listening to lady gaga than to give a shit about what's really happening. And if they do give a shit, they're usually content with talking shit to the t.v or ranting on the interwebs.

  • comparing communists to the kkk is a false equivalency. So what he's saying.,if you have "fringe" views, better just shut up,.because as a minority your better left marginalized. He talks about pipe dreams and yet he proposes the destruction of central banks, campaign contributions, and ending all the wars.,ha ha ha ha ha

  • As much as I want to disagree, you do have some good points. Perhaps the left should all just get together and secede from the right

  • No. Pretending both sides can get along is what got us here in the first place. Chasing "centrism" is what those in power want us to do. Pick a side, fight for it, and let the battle for America begin.

  • @Inquisitr No. There's no pretense here. Libertarians on the left and right CAN get along... especially if we have a chance to talk with one another, (as Luke Rudkowski, a young libertarian-patriot-guy says in this interview... "I'm even getting along with communists!!" David Icke Talks with Luke Rudkowski #ows #n17). This is not about "centrism." And YOUR "battle" is doomed to fail cause you're unwilling to look beyond your own, narrow "side." Good luck with that.

  • so ur calling all communists frig groups?

  • I not 100% agreeing with this. Of the people I talked with and read on the Occupy movement, most knew they did not have specific goals, they were voicing their anger - sometimes accurate, sometimes very inaccurate. Almost all change - no matter what the change is - is because you did not like something, you were frustrated, upset or undecided and it leads change. You need that discontent in order to change and set goals. And in that respect the Occupy WS was successful.

  • makes sense.. the 1% could just not give a shit about protestors. derp. OWS needs to go beyond slogan chanting and camping out

  • @kundalinimacaroni Try this: the99declaration(dot)org

  • the answer.... vote Ron Paul!

  • We may not be huge in numbers (only about 1000), but Detroit is still going strong!

  • Don't throw away votes! Ron Paul won't get the moderates and that is where the election is won!

  • Occupy The Fed!!

    Ron Paul 2012!!

  • Be safe, i hope the immigration thing works out for you mate, the way you got stung is how every corporation works in this world. Get people to sign the dotted line and then change the rules, or show you the invisible ink.

Just a note though on British Constitution Group. We are rallying members in secret and have leaders taking the control of informing the people in each group, when the time comes we will let rip on the system, they will never knew what hit them! Take care peeps, be safe!

  • Hello matey, thanks for your posts, i used them on my Facebook. You explain in detail and very slow that people can understand. I know so much info i don't know where to start or how to get things going. Good educational vids bud, keep up the good work, i'll carry on spreading the word.

In England we have common law. We are using that to take judges to court for treason and we are pulling the whole system apart, to start our own. British Constitution Group, check out John Harris too on here

  • i agree with this guy 99%!!!

  • @MrMichael530 You very funny, haha i like it :) 99% ;-)

  • @Jazziggady thanks... you know, i was one of a few people who started an occupation here in my local community of Chico, CA. it is a small college town in northern California. we started by holding a protest on our own Wall st. we thought it would be symbolic, and a good way show our support for the movement in our little town. it grew from there, by the 4th march we had over 280 people show up on oct. 15th which is pretty good for our small community... then things changed....

  • @Jazziggady soon after that initial burst of energy our movement was taken over by hippie malcontents who would rather sit around and smoke pot. the people that had no life, or responsibilities began making decisions for the entire movement locally... the fringe element ended up hurting our local movement, and we lost a lot of the rational, average, day to day folks. eventually those of us truly understood it, and started it, left it to support the larger cities, like oakland..

  • The OWS has already succeeded. They have changed the conversation in most of America. To think that the OWS will actually bring about a new law or some kind of reform is naive. Since the OWS has no power, as all citizens have no power, they do not aspire to use power to evoke a change in government. OWS 'is using the power of voice and first ammendment to wake up Americans to that, which we do not all admit, but which we all agree, the system is biased in favor of the top 1%..

  • Agree with your 3 points, and the need for bi-partisan cooperation, but couldn't disagree more with your forecasts for OWS. You've completely missed the political opportunities the OWS will be afforded as the economic situation in the US worsens, for reasons you've spoke about before. Many other peaceful movements fail when they are no longer relevant, but thankfully the political-economic context of the US is going to bear many more opportunities for OWS to act, evolve, and grow. We'll see.

  • I concurred with this until your 3 steps for action. These steps depend on politicians, who are not going to spurn their corporate masters anytime soon. The quickest and most effective way to change the system is by hitting the source - corporate pocketbooks. Change your spending habits, take your money from big banks and put it in small banks/credit unions. Support small, local businesses instead. Corporations will change their ways in a hurry...the bottom line is everything to them!

  • a couple of people standing on a street corner in their respective neighborhoods at least once per week will do more to wake the masses than any large demonstration

  • people need to take the headphones outta their ears and LOOK UP AT THE SKY LOOK AT THE SOARS ON THEIR BODIES LOOK AT THE DYING PLANTS ALL AROUND these are tangible things planes spraying is obvious and they fly non commercial routes, and most of all they need to check their blood to confirm it is FULL of barium and aluminum its already too late!!! 3 stages to waking up: scared, angry, motivated to survive! you will never wake up until you pass thru all those stages our job is going DOOR TO DOOR!

  • AND STOP WATCHING TV and studt their bible: IRON MOUNTAIN REPORT

    iGPtcW8nv_k

    [noobs put code in google]

  • sorry but that platform is to whimpy, the idea is good, you left out the REAL SHIT: CHEMTRAILS, GMO, VACCINES, FLUORIDE, ASPARTAME, PASTEURIZATION, ...THAT IS WHAT IS KILLING THE PEOPLE AND PEOPLE DO CARE ABOUT THAT NO MATTER WHAT BACKGROUND, ESPECIALLY ONCE THEY BECOME AWARE OF THESE ISSUES THEY BECOME VERY CONCERNED SO ADD THESE TO THE PLATFORM AT THE VERY TOP COINING MONEY IS USELESS WITHOUT SOVEREIGNTY FOCUS ON LOCAL VICTORIES AND INDEPENDENT CANDIDATES = ZERO INFILTRATION THATS HOW ITS DONE

  • Excellent points and I completely agree. also to quote a famous person murdered by the corrupt people we're fighting against: Those who make peaceful revolution impossible will make violent revolution inevitable.

  • The only thing the OWS movement has achieved is exposing the Democrats for the scum they are in supporting actions such as what took place at many of the protests, and taking their statements back as soon as there was less support. Whores. Whores, in many forms.

  • @brunojluc4 Any mention of the Republicans?

  • @TheAmericanDialogue

I was making a statement about the nature of how far the Democrats are willing to go to gain popularity. The Republicans have been exploiting Christian citizens' beliefs for years, but now we finally have evidence about the Democrats which everyone can identify with.

I take it your post implies that you see every person who opposes your ideals as an angry, Republican Christian, and you are not alone in that.

  • @brunojluc4 No I just presented a simply question. I did not post any of "my ideals"

  • @TheAmericanDialogue

Then I have given my answer.

  • @brunojluc4 then if part of your answer is based on an assumption by reading into what I said as an answer then you are wrong. i.e.: "I take it your post implies that you see every person..."

Religion or no part of that enter my mind. As far as I am concern this country is getting screwed one way or the other by all sides, it's just a matter of who can get the most to believe the nonsense. A country divided only serves those who get the biggest piece as the crumbs trickle down.

  • You lost me with the demands, bringing the troops home is a very partisan issue, I agree with you on that issue BTW, just saying NeoCons will attack that position viciously.

  • Good video. My thought on OWS is this:

The occupations acted as a SPARK.

    Now the fire is GROWING.

  • the video assumes we have more time than we actually have, if it fails, we fall, plain and simple, there's no time to talk about "another movement", get on board and try to help the movement or shut up and brace yourself cause left and right are about to become more meaningless than they've ever been...

  • Agreed.

  • whats up storm clouds gathering?

  • Where is #4 ?

    4. Get rid of ALL government.

You can NOT delegate the right-to-tax-others, to a representative, because YOU don't have that right to start with!

Stop supporting the idea of fake authority.

    It's time to move on.

  • ...intelligent answer.

*apparently you can only write one paragraph per comment???

  • The Occupy movement have a very thorough explanation of why the protesting, and even some great ideas on how to fix the problems at hand.

Unfortunately, our country is not as free as you think. So, while news stations claim the Occupy movement consists of hippies, & extremists, you only need to see for yourself to find even our news corps are corrupt.

Check out the official Occupy website, watch the live feed, or even drop by the closest site, and ask why... You will most likely receive an int

  • ...funding politicians, thus making our government corrupt.

    2. The bubble, the bs mortgages, the over 7TRILLION secretly lent to banks that should've gone under in a capitalist state...

It's all part of point 1.

  • Serious Fail! on your part.

The Occupy movement isn't about being against capitalism.

There are democrats, republicans, non partisans... people of all walks of life that are part of Occupy, so of course there are conflicting views on certain things such as being for or against capitalism.

The main thing that makes us the 99% is that WE make less than the 400 people that make up the approximate 1%.

The main points of the Occupy movement are 1. the corporations owned my a majority of the 1% fu

  • To leave out a single payer system for healthcare is a huge oversight on your part. Once most Americans understand what it involves, most Americans agree with it and want it. While I agree with some of your points, and like some of your other videos... you may want to go back to your drawing board on this one.

  • Our Declaration of Independence, our de jure Constitution c.1791-1860 and all 50 organic Constitutions were used in the re-inhabiting of our de jure Republic for the united states of America March 30, 2010! We now have an interim government of, for, by the people that is being lawfully re-constructed to operate parallel with the corporate de facto government. We ARE NOT the 99%. w dot republic for the united states dot org. find out what we did. We welcome Americans with pure heart.

  • Read the Tyranny of words. By the way please define 'fail' =) words are lethal..I also don't believe simply 'changing the rules' or asking the powers that be to kindly 'stop all wars of aggression' - surely wars are a result of a perceived scarcity, control and power struggles amongst other things - complex problems that must be solved at their roots rather than by legislation or demands. Sure we can have those things as goals but what we must do is dismantle the value system that promotes this.

  • Great video, but you've missed the picture. OWS isn't a socialist movement. It includes multiple parties, and its already a success. The dialogue in the country now includes discussion of class warfare and inequality.

The fact is, that just like under the Russian Czar, the poorest and most ignorant populations are the quickest to come to the defense of their tyrannical leaders. Just because the 99% don't know they're brainwashed doesn't mean that OWS isn't standing up for their rights.

  • Agreed. We need simple terms. And a unified consciousness!

  • The Fed may be private in a technical sense, but it is ultimately just an arm of the federal government. Giving power to make money to Congress would not be much better than our current situation. Money should be determined by the market, not by any central authority. People should be free to use any commodity they wish as a medium of exchange. Those commodities which are best suited and most stable will rise to the top and be widely accepted.

  • "The power to create money is political and should not be in private hands."

That is insane. Money should be free market (private and voluntary). Consumers should choose what they use for a medium of exchange. The government should not control currency directly, nor should the government grant a monopoly on currency to a private group. There shouldn't be a government at all. Government is a monopoly of the legal right to initiate violence in a given geographical area. Government is immoral.

  • WTF? the neo cons don't want anything you just listed.

  • Storm the 99% thing is a meme.

  • Also, I completely disagree on the bringing ALL troops home, but I do agree on the stopping wars of aggression. We CAN NOT bring all of our troops in foreign countries home. We have a few places where we NEED to stay, Japan, South Korea, Australia, and a few European countries, they are vital to our survival as a nation.

  • @YourGodStalin we survived 125+ years without foreign military bases. in what sense are you speaking that foreign troops are vital to the survival of the nation.

  • @Valobladr Those 125+ years we hadn't protected other countries and helped them get to where they are today. Japan is a major country that is under our care and protection, the same with South Korea, your phone, and most likely the computer you're on, depended upon Japan and Korea, as well as China, to work. Without our protection after WW2, Japan would have collapsed and China would have eventually taken it over, and we wouldn't have the valuable ally we have today.

  • The OWS movement will fail, because it's the wrong people fighting, most of the movement, are hipster children, who just want someone else to pay for everything they have.

  • @YourGodStalin you mean like Neo-conservatives wanted China to pay for our war in Iraq?

  • @YourGodStalin Yep, and those who disagree with OWS are yuppy children who have had everything handed to them in life.

  • No, the reason OWS will fail is because all peaceful protests fail. Power will never give up power voluntarily. It must be taken back by force.

  • @sheephater300

    Gandhi?

  • @sheephater300 “Those who make peaceful revolution impossible, will make violent revolution inevitable.” JFK

  • @sheephater300 Let's see if you say the same when your friends or family die, yes die, in violent protests, we in south america, had lots of them, you should experience it before talking about it, I'm sure you think is like a videogame lol

  • @sheephater300 So I guess MLK failed

  • @sheephater300 You mistake force with violence. A peaceful, mass movement is a force. If OWS had been able to draw 100,000+ people into the streets, the cops would not have been able to shut us down. Today, the militarized state apparatus is LOOKING for us to be violent, so they can declare emergency, etc. That is their trump card, and we can't fall into that trap. This is a good video. We need to speak to widest possible public. The demands are very good: succinct, galvanizing. Well done.

  • @MrAndreyyo Yes. Protest only gets you so far and then action is required. Here is a plan to unite the 99% for that action: the99declaration(dot)org

  • @PeedroPaula Thx for informing me of this initiative... interesting; but I have big problems with it. Creating some kind of 2nd Continental Congress smacks of movement-usurpation. From whence does this group of 870 delegates assume its authority to speak for 300 million+ people? Unless I'm missing something... ridiculous!! And if you want to articulate demands, fine; but far better use of a "Congress" would be to put forth 1 demand that EVERYONE can agree on. Then we can move on. Please advise.

  • @MrAndreyyo The 99declaration is absolutely a usurpation of the movement. It does not have the real endorsement of OWS and should be disregarded by all occupies. The whole point of the movement is linear and bottup-up organization. This "constitutional convention" was created by a few people at adbusters, has not been passed by any GA especially NYCGA and therefore should be completely rejected. For this movement to be successful in any way we have to avoid becoming a hive-mind.

  • @GreenHatOC thx for the information. I always like to keep an open mind as to what people want to contribute; but this concerns me. I guess we're in agreement.

If it ain't the cops busting our ass, we gotta watch out for the friggin functionaries with a mission to save us from ourselves.

  • @sheephater300 Peace fails. But we can forcefully succeed nonviolently.

  • you're grouping dirty hippies and all the things said about the left, in with right wing KKK types... I have a real problem with that. There's a big difference between hate speech and love speech. You're trying to imply that like right wing extremists the far left should be marginalized.

I'd rather not marginalize anyone. That is our philosophy and the right has always pointed at us and said we were weak. The truth is that OWS is tough love. We are rising up in love not out of fear.

  • Not only that, this cherry picks everything that supports you're claim that we are just a left wing movement.

  • Right, dirty hippies need not apply right?

  • Why your 3 suggestions will not work:

1)The banks will simply bankroll the smaller non-bank institutions.

2)The corporations will simply make dummy organizations to make contributions or contributions will go under the table and not be disclosed.

3)This is a pipe dream under the current establishment and conflicts directly with 1&2

  • the 99% is not a left-wing movement though

  • Hay man anytime your in Washington St. give me a buss well have a beer and a good talk.

  • Agree with your three points, but would like to add: close most (if not all) of the foreign bases. Let the Koreans, the Europeans, Taiwanese, and the israelis fight their own wars.

  • @joel1923 What wars? without the US in the picture wether visible or not there arent many..

  • I love your videos agree with you on all things but one: the Federal Reserve is NOT a private bank! This is a myth perpetuated by those with a very poor understanding of how banking works. It is true that private bankers ostensibly own the Fed, but this is an irrelevant legalistic fiction. The Fed is required by law to remit all profits it makes directly to the Treasury, including profits made from government bonds. Also it is required by law to roll over the principle from bonds into more bonds

  • @IvanTheHeathen

    1. Fed isn't a government agency

    2. Fed has never been audited

    3. since the fed isn't audited how can congress ensure the fed is paying its profits to the treasury.

    4. Bernanke has said government has no authority over the federal reserve.

    5. The profit is irrelevant, its the ability to control monetary policy that matters.

    6. Economics and Banking is unnecessarily and purposefully complex, its a pseudo science and its meant to act as a veil. Its quite simple.

  • @deimos760 The Fed's monopoly on currency is granted by the government. Private means nothing if choice is off the table. The Fed sucks, but without the government, the Fed has no power.

  • @deimos760

    1. Mere assertion is not an argument. At least I deigned to give an argument for my view.

    2. I know that.

    3. Because Congress gets the money every year.

    4. Arthur Burns, Fed Chairman during the 1970's, said that if the Fed ever disobeyed the government, it would loose its independence. The whole thing is politically controlled. Bernanke is lying.

    5. I know that. If you actually read my comment, you'd know I implied the same.

    6. Oh, really? Again, this is a mere assertion.

  • the guy poo'ing on the flag in Portland was a few years ago- BUT still proves the point.. it just isn't related directly to OWS (though I believe it was an anti-war protest if I remember correctly.)

One thing those who seek ever growing control over everyone else is pretty good at is PR, and we've obviously seen just how well they do with it and how images like this will be used against us all, OWS or otherwise, in one form or another, if we give it to them to use.

  • so true.

  • That little bit of music at the end of your videos...what song is that? I recognize it from somewhere, but I can't quite put my finger on it.

  • @AIntellectualRedneck i have been asking the same thing lol

  • @AIntellectualRedneck

Its a track from ghost in the shell. Yoko Kanno.

  • @AIntellectualRedneck It's from ghost in the shell I think. BUT WHAT IS IT CALLED?

  • that sign asking to "make english america's " official language is so pathetic.

  • OWS has already succeeded in changing discourse and making 1% nervous. All has to do IMO is evolve into a single message, get money out of politics.

  • Love your work. re this video: one step at a time. 1st step is "We are the 99%" unifying slogan. Doesn't have to be 99%, it's the unifying slogan that matters. There has not been any mistakes. Movement is in evolution, not revolution yet. It's not going to fade, it has already changed discourse and made 1% nervous. That is big success for something so immature. Revel in the successes, look to the future, and don't dwell on fringe elements like FauxNews.

  • @rickmerc No the movement is garbage. Just a bunch of commie hippies. The 99% is insulting. I am not with you. It doesn't unify me. You are probably less than 13%. Besides their attitude has ruined their own movement.

  • @zoulkyud Do you actually believe the bullshit you type?!! You fucking dumb ass! LMAO, your dumb its so funny! HAhaHAhaHAhHahaHAhahaH Your so stupid ahhhhhhhhhhh!

  • @Jioxer

You prove my point splendidly. You hurl insults at me yet I am the dumb one? Clearly your egotistic attitude which provides no answers. Rather than divide, and try to force everyone to your point of view. Maybe you could actually explain it.

Its nice you are angry because I disagree with you. However calling me "fucking dumb." While making no argument, is completely pointless. Much like OWS.

  • @zoulkyud Bwahahahahah Your so dumb! Its just so funny to see idiots like you regurgitate the same bullshit they hear through the media and other basis outlets. You are the definition of a sheep! You copy what you hear, thats what makes you dumb. You cant even formulate your own opinion, you have to have others make it for you. You are sad and fail to listen to real problems this nation faces. Thats why you fail. I refuse to even read your comment cause I know you cant absorb the facts properly.

  • Comment removed

  • @Jioxer

My proof is in your comment.

All the while congress is taking away your rights. Look up NDAA. While occupy is complaining about "economic injustice." Our government wants the right to permanently detain anyone.

You call me a sheep but refuse to listen to what other people have to say? I copy what I hear? but all you do is regurgitate insults. Either you are the most ignorant person I have ever talked to, or you are a troll. I hope for your sake its the 2nd.

  • @zoulkyud Im not reading your comment cause you think one person speaks for thousands of people. You are dumb I will not have a conversation with you. There is no point, you only know your own bias opinion.

  • @rickmerc I agree,"We are the 99%" is the 1st step. then the metaphor needs to be refined to describe the real situation more accurately: there is 9% paid to defend and justify the 1%. Together this 10% turns---through lying propaganda---half of us against us. So we have 45 against 45+9+1. But this can be changed if we learn from mistakes committed during the earlier phases of the struggle to progress from "Dictatorship to (real)Democracy: Web search for the work of Gene Sharp.

  • @janosabel

No it needs to be accurate. Don't start shouting you are the 99% whenever you are throwing out an idea others don't agree with. I am pretty sure that when people vote. There is no 99% voting against capitalism.. If you want to really be the 99%, find something the real 99% can all agree upon. Hint: Its not free college for all, or socialist agendas. The fringe has really taken over OWS. I see this at their own rallies.

  • @zoulkyud, Did you read the whole of my post?

I said we are more like 45 percent for radical change and 45 per cent against because their minds are controlled by the remaining 10 per cent.

And I was not shouting but reasoning.

Did you look up "From Dictatorship to Democracy" at the Albert Einstein Institution?

  • ows failed before it started. it was a plant protest to aid the power elite. not a question in my mind. and now that it has been embraced by young people, the states are moving to destroy it. which they will do, but only after struggle. and the chaos will grant authority to lock down society.

  • They failed a month or more ago

  • Ok the views have been at 7,500 for like a week now!?

  • Great video.

Can someone tell me what the music is that plays at the end of this video?
