  • awesome....fuck you pop!!!!!

  • I caught them live at The Pipeline in Newark NJ in 1991 or 2 ,after listening to this stuff Metal just became Irrelevant to me .........Awesome show ........

  • DEAR GOD I LOVE THIS TRACK :D

  • It's more Industrial electro rock music than grunge... even if we're not far of the Grunge universe... I think that Trent Reznor was a fan of The Young Gods... and he is not the only popular musician to appreciate the Young Gods.

Surely the best band from Geneva-Switzerland of the last 20 years... the musical scene in this "international little city" is not very interesting as i lived there between 1999 and 2004 ...the best alternative years were just finished...& the Squats disappeared :(

  • íslenski dansflokkurinn sent me here

  • Everyone who don't know this band doesn't know what Life is

  • They're first 3 albums were amazing. This is when they started to go mainstream with their sound. They lost a lot of fans after this was released. They should have stayed with their original programming.

  • Agree. It starts out like Chemlab but it turns into Soundgarden

  • wow the lead singer looks and sounds a lot like bono from u2

  • @taniacristinagrant @ which age? no ... i don't think so ...

  • No guitars were used in the making of this album.

Seriously, it is all sampled keyboard stuff.

  • LOVE THIS

Real music never ages, never stops making you feel alive again

  • Seriously got a grunge feeling

  • I love the song but.. does anyone find the video fuckin hilarious... I mean.. Him on a ladder and the way he moves his hands... LMAO

  • @Chadsb He's not just on the ladder. He owns the ladder. He makes the ladder WORK!

  • I think he's singing about vajayjays.

  • last week live in Brussels = alive and kicking

  • As soon as I heard the drum sound I knew it would be a no.

  • @craigwithington i kinda hve to agree with you.... but music is music and im not going to talk shit about it.

  • EVERYBODY KNOWS - except the music industry...

  • Astoria 1991. Best gig I ever went to. Rap rap rapido!!!

  • geiles Lied ;)

  • Fri- son les gens :)

  • well about being a pearl jam ripoff, stop munching LSD for breakfast. The gods had released 3-4 albums before the world knew pearl jam who by the way is a rock band no?

  • thx 4 posting, miss summer eyes hereand she rains

  • Who is the morons who said it was grunge?

The young gods = industrial music !!

    Damn !!!

  • They did not quit. New album, currently on the road with the concerts. Looking forward to their gig in Warsaw, 22.02

  • Comment removed

  • this geezer looks like he is tripping out on acid

  • they were sampling industrial band legend in 90's. Very hard to find, very elite, very first that start new music directions... very sad they quit

  • yeah, I saw 'em back in '96 with Ministry in west palm beach, FL. Awesome!!!!

  • fineeee :)))))))))))

  • I remember back in 92 that video was rotated on MTV, it was mind blowing... One of the best songs in post industrial

  • That was not good.

  • Gimme.....something like forever Lisa Kunze...

    Gimme.....something love...always Lisa Kunze...

dedicated this song to you my love Lisa Kunze, my skinnflower...

    Gimme, Gimme, Gimme...:D

  • every night i lick her skin flower

    attractive fragrance

  • Great vid, especially the Jellyfish in it.

  • Ladies and Gentlemen, you're in front of one of the really relevant electric bands of the last 30 years, they're like badly drawn Kraftwerk, kinda desperate Yello, Treichler (and his mates) is an extremely nice guy without attitudes!!!

Don't mention BONO in this context, please!

  • No more pigeonholing! great music by creative folk. : )

  • Industrial Rock...nothing more...nothing less...TV SKY was my first introduction to The Young Gods and I loved it...;-)

Just a pity I had never heard of them sooner...

  • respect par contre je suis pompier et on apprend a ne jamais mettre les mains entre les barreaux d une echelle !!!

it was a joke ! hardcore still lives !

  • @perrais1 This reminds me of such good times. I can never be that guy again, that's why.

  • @bugyell69 I don't undestand what you mean when you said you can never be that guy again + that' why (?). Anyway this video reminds me a lot of good memories too.

In 1994 i travelled a lot in france one time to see them in a show and i experimented good things. I saw them in a magic show of "treponem pal" in Paris with also Ministry's singer AMAZING. Music never let me down and will not for sure. For the moment I'm addicted with hardcore ! Bye.

  • fantastic group !

  • I love you guys!

  • enfin un bon beat

  • Tocan bien cabrón, lástima que en mi país es muy difícil encontrar los cd y descargarlos de internet es como regalar dinero, muchos fraudes....

  • this guys so fkin genious

  • super truper -šnek- -pupen-

  • What? Grunge? That's Industrial Rock. Listen to other songs of the Young Gods, these are fantastic.

  • @999Jago999 who said its grunge? im gona beat him up

  • @999Jago999 It actually sounds a little like grunge.

  • @999Jago999 this is NOT industrial rock, this is a Pearl Jam ripoff ;) and it's therefore definitely closer to grunge than to industrial rock.

  • @wladwlad

    Pearl jam suck.

  • @Danjoww your a massive dickpiece

  • whats with all the dancing on the ladder?

  • Zhmmm...shades of Faith No More. ...which broke onto 'the scene' one year before this was released.

  • I too love FNM but this was not from The Young Gods first album. They had been around a good 6 years before this was released and their sound varies on every album and they are still going strong.

  • They're actually one of Mike Pattons influences so that might be why it may sound simmilar.

  • Woow, that's a long time ago... Nice song!

  • nice :))

  • wtf ..you sound like an idio .t

  • A great band that unfortunately still hasn't received the recognition it deserves.

  • This VIDEO IS ABSOLUTLY AMAZING!!! AND THE SONG IS SO GREATT!!!!!!!!!!!!! TURN ME ON!

  • Franz: God-like

I've seen TYG in London & Der Schweitz, both acoustic & full-on rock gigs, and they have never been anything less than awesome. More power to you - here's to the next 20 yrs.

  • Gimmeee......Something.......great song amazing !!! like 4ever!!!!

  • what clip ends before this song

  • my parents introduced me to this band like 15 ish years ago, and took me to see them in the queen Elizabeth hall london when i was 12. best gig of my fucking life.

  • You're lucky to have such parents!

  • Wenigstens ei Band us de schwiiz wo mer ka ernst nä ;-)

  • Granda banda...

  • This song never gets old! And I understand, the band's method is this: making musical collages out of sampled riffs from classic rock songs, setting them to new rhythms and lyrics, right? I think that's pretty cool!

  • vynikajici originalni parta spojujici kytary s elektronikou,po shlednuti jejich letosni akusticke show je zboznuji jeste vic i po letech teto hudebni znamosti...

  • the young gods sin de Hammmer!! Schwiizer superband!!! S giit nidt viile gruuppe wi The young gods!! Magnifique!!!

  • What a voice.... Great.

  • This band reminded me of Front 242, one of my favorite bands and hardly any that really sound similar to them.

  • Dalmatinac75 --> you're right.. they never got the attention they deserved in switzerland! It's a shame.

  • great great band. unbelievable that in their homeland Switzerland many people never heard of them. poor retarded house generation

  • this guy looks like bono, except he could kick bono's ass

  • LOL you're right

  • lol aggreed

  • @billyhay He does look like Bono...but do you know that Young Gods had an influence on The Edge during the production of U2's 1991 album "Achtung Baby"?
