  • Love it!

  • I've shot the video "BRAMS a Roses" with the same camera. I look forward to hear your opinions. It's using 24p standard, 4/3 and white balance set to 5300K most of the time but switching back to 3200K sometimes.

  • This is very well shot, Rozhdstvo! Can I ask what the settings where on your camera for this? It looks like you shot with the Letterbox option yes? Try filming squeeze and then exporting the footage as 16:9 and you'll get the full picture without the bars around the picture. I love the movement of it also. Did you shoot at 1/48th shutter speed? Brilliant work! Love the music. Yours?

  • @mdsfilms hey there mdsfilms )

    thanx for your comment.

yes the shutter was set up at 1/48,.and then i've just slowed down the speed to 80%.

music is brilliant, but its not mine) this is Amos Lee -colors.

    amazing,warm and beautiful song!

    thax for the advise!!!

  • thanx my friends! sorry i didnt respond so long!been working hard with my band(i am a singer in a band called Champagne Morning ) and making videos this is my hobbie)

yes girl is amazing, most beautiful girl i've ever seen!

thanx for supporting my videos!very soon i'll upload the video of my band!)hope you'll like it!

  • This is one of the best dvx100 footages i ever seen on youtube, great job, where we can watch the movie? or buy it?

Pd, Great Job, the girl is just Perfect!

  • Nice editing mate

  • Beautiful !?! Bit Of An Understatement To Say The Least, If You Ask Me !

  • if you want to get the most out of gear like this use a tripod whenever possible..

  • @SteveHovland A tripod would have sucked all the energy out of the video. It really depends on the situation man.

  • hey whats the name of the song?

  • Amos Lee-colors

  • Great work. Simple and clean. I was thinking, what program you have used to edit this clip and how do you do these "Flash to white" effects? How you get this clean motions with the camera, with a Steaycan?

  • wow i love this video and that girl..I think i might trade in my GL2 and get a Panasonic DVX

  • gorgeous vid....gorgeous girl

  • hd?

  • What lenses did you use to shoot this? Great video!

  • Do I want to know what happened behind the scenes? ;P

    Great cinematography!

  • great vid once again. quick question though. how do you do that white flash cut? is it some kind of transition special effect in final cut pro?

  • no its just brightnes and contrast making up)

  • this is just so amazing looking.. this is the stock dvx a ? and lots of post?

  • hey!thanx!

    ..yes.and yes.

  • Beautiful footage. Very pretty girl too. I am debating what camera to get. Seems this is the best bang for the buck.

  • So worth the money, has a pretty steep learning curve but well worth the inexpensive price, highly recommended

  • Well, this is my concern. If it has a steep learning curve for someone who already knows something about video, the learning curve for someone like me who knows nothing must be massive.

  • I used consumer cams before the dvx, so i knew nothing really to work it, its a whole new level going pro after consumer, nothing really applied to the dvx that I already knew.

  • You get them used for around 1000 bucks now. It's not HD, but it produces a really great image at 24fps. The good thing is, there are so many manual controls that it's the PERFECT camera to learn on...the more you use it, the more practical stuff you'll be forced to pick up, like learning a language.

And HD has it's own huge set of concerns to deal with, so best start with this camera. You won't regret it.

  • im curious to know if the thin vertical lines are actually the ccds overloading or done in post, the thick and soft verticals are obviously real and from lens flare.

  • Beautiful

  • Great Job! loved it!

  • she is drop dead beautiful

  • Very beautiful. What did you use for post production? I just got a DVX100b and working hard to get that "Film Look". Your work is wonderful.

  • yo go buy a Cine 35mm DOF Adapter or a letus35, this adapter will blow ur mind

  • how much are they?i got a dvx and i really want one.

  • a DOF lens?

  • Great Work!!!!What are you using for post?

  • I like the end scene....when you can see a part of her *** or whatever.....nice lighting, nice slow-motion, nice camera shaking (not like the cheap-ass camcorders), nice editing, nice song..nice girl....fuck..I need a dvx100 too

  • The indoor lighting... magnificent. Can you tell me more about it?

    Thanks.

  • She's hot. And so is that camera.

  • how come most of the other DVX100 clips on here don't look half as good is it to do with your setup?

  • I have that same question. I have to assume it has to do with the ability of the film maker and understanding how to use the camera.

  • It's the very best point of view. You scored ten for love in my opinion. The girl is beautiful. And btw, i'm buiyng this camera ;)

  • This should be inspiration to all film makers, beautiful in every way....

  • hey!!thanx!!that was the gretest response!!!

  • what song is that

  • amos lee- colors

  • looks good

  • Your clips are so wonderful and professional looks! Good luck! I am also learning a editing in FCP 6. I would be glad if you tell me what kind of effect did u use when its fade in. Its something like a flash light. can i make it in FCP6. if yes than pliz needed your tips.

    advance thank you.

  • did you use any dof adaptor or just zoom and full aperture for the shallow depth?

  • just zoom and full aperture.

  • it looks like you shot this in 24p. no? BTW good job with the lighting, is it all natural?

  • no its daylight flo)

  • good video man! shes very beautiful!

  • nice work! this scene of course lives from the soft light from the side coming through the window. but i like your style of DOF usage and the way you play with slow-mo. very cinematic!

  • ha ha)) thanx!

  • i dono but the girl is hot

  • Very nice takes. What software you use to get more cine look?

  • It's funny isn't it? People spend thousands of dollars to shoot their film on high definition when DVX users can make films look a billion times more cinematic.

  • thanx man!

  • Wow.

  • I just ordered the DVX100A yesterday i like it better because of the time lapse feature and i can't wait to get it after seeing all these videos in flash format and they still look amazing i cant imagine the quality in a normal format! Nice videos by the way cant wait to see the final movie

  • thanx!!!!!!!!!!

     wait please!!)

  • Hey I was wondering--where did you order your DVX100A? Thanks

  • minha roomateeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

  • man nice vid!

cant help myself this girl's got something from scarlet johannson :P beautiful!

  • it already

  • it alredy converted)

  • Would have looked even better if you'd converted it to 23,976 FPS.

  • I would let shoot me by this operator! without a doubt!

Fuck what a job! Give me ticket to Hollywood!!

  • YouTubes award for best film of the year!! )) The operator work's wonderful! Beautiful girl there - I wish I take someone like she in my life
