yeah, i agree, for a good sniper, his sniping spot is the whole damn map. all you gotta do is be an alright strafer, a good shot and youll be fine anywhere on the map.
sniper spots are for noobs. you get like one kill and then everyone knows where you are.
@2cooler4youer heres a tip for grenade jumping. crouch, and hold down on youre looking joystick and throw a grenade. the grenade shouldnt bounce, it should just stay at your feet. even if you dont jump or move, this grenade will not kill you if you have full shields when it blows up. so, place a grenade, and jump EXACTLY when it blows up (about 2 seconds) and your grenade jump should be significantly higher.
some of the maps on valhalla wont help u but sick video and the one on narrows they blocked that off so it dosent work any more plus it is only used to hide when u have the lead
i gotta say, if you dont need sniping spots, why are you looking for them? you must have obviously typed in something about sniping spots to come up with this video
my favorite on vahala has to be to banshee one take the banshee with the sniper to the upper top on the back side of either tower and get off and u'll be on a little ledge with full view of map. never died there ever
nice. but u missed one on valhalla. on either tower, u can use a banshee to fly up to a place just below the top and behind the tower. u press into the little place with the banshee, jump out, and try to land on top of a little bar. then u move around the corner and boom! headshot
i can never get to that one on valhalla at the base, I usually just camp around the crashed ship instead. Are you actually any good online? Do you ever use those spots in matches? I doubt it
actually i do in unranked matches and just try it once it is hilarious. especially the valhalla one. i was out of snipe ammo so i was comming down to get more and a guy was running by so i threw a plasma and he was lookin around and i jumped down and assasinated him out of no where!
the funny thing isi havnt played halo in a while but when i did right before i left it i started raping with a sniper i was gettin kills being basically blind. what i mean by that is that i was sniping people through the leaves of trees so i couldnt see them only their gt. and they were head snips i had tapes but since my gt is no longer active i wont have them ever again. and i had this really good spree going on that one snow lvl i forgot wat it was called though. i got some cool assasinations
btw those snipes through the trees i got were through the trees to the right of the first valhalla spot. oh and i forgot me and my dad made a 5 star general quit the game lol

ooooh i really liked the valhalla ones, never even thought about that.. fav sniping map as well, i only have one tip to give tho, every one of those jumps that u didnt frag with (except with the grav lift on foundry) you can do with a frag grenade which saves u going and getting a brute shot or plasmas =) and with the barrel jump on guardian, just shoot it with your sniper or a br as u jump, and u get there just as easy, saves you going and getting the grav hammer =)

the one on narrows, where you jump off near the lift into the little gap on the wall. i can get into the gap but then i can't get into the massive area where you can see through all sides. i've tried and i keep jumping but i can never get up there... any tips??
on one of them you have to crouch jump, but do you mean the ledge on the window? if so you have keep goin in the direction of the window to make sure you're up there
