  • people seem to forget that this movie and contraband has the same icelandic director, and I've seen both, its the same goddamn movie just contraband obviously had more money to work with

  • The movie Contraband is Directed by Baltasar Kormakur who is a Icelander and also is the lead actor in the Icelandic version. Also there are alot of Icelandic acters in Contraband. So dont give us and Hollywood all the glory for the remake :)

  • "Fucking Icelanders" LoL the only thing I understood in this whole trailer. I heard that this is the original film of an American remake called "Contraband". Sorry to say, the American version looks A LOT better. They probably had a 100 times more money to spend but I'm still glad they made this movie because we would not have an American version without it.

  • It's not american's remaking the film at all. Baltasar directed the thing, and apparently a large portion of the film crew were icelandic. It's not like it's a grand hollywood conspiracy or anything...

  • It's not "Americans" remaking the film. It's not like we're gathering at town halls and petitioning Hollywood to remake a Steig Larson film because we're too lazy to read subtitles. We've seen the original version. But Hollywood decides that they can make money off of the film so they take it and make it with a bigger budget.

Please stop confusing the actions of Hollywood (or the Government) with the American people.

  • @serp82 The government of the USA is voted in BY the people to REPRESENT the people.

What they do IS the people's fault.

    It is THAT simple!

You the people put them in power and then you blame others for youbeing dumb enough to vote in psychopaths

  • awesome mynd

  • Haha, I love Victor Löw here. :')

    "Fucking Icelanders!"

  • Why do americans always need to remake great movies for their own people!? They can't read (subtitels) or don't understand other languages? :) This version is excellent!!

  • @eskimoe69 Americans like to hire actors known to Americans and make the films with bigger budgets and (usually) greater technical skill in regard to stunts, scale, scope, locations, etc.

  • @eskimoe69 And other countries remake American movies. Whats the big deal?

  • @Zephyrlol Can you give an example?

  • @eskimoe69 I'm sure you can find others by yourself. To start you on your journey, google "Turkish Star Wars".

  • Yeah... Wahlberg's better.

  • no baltasar made it

  • ill just watch the Wahlberg version

  • recommend

  • Good crime film...
