however tickets for ayu in hk sold out within 3 hours, a total of >8000 tickets. Moreover the most expensive tickets sold out within 5mins. Those who bought these tickets were really hk people, and she is really having an asia tour.

just adding to the point - there are several occasions where she was singing and dancing at the same time, you couldn't hear her so-called "heavy breathing", but the next thing you know, she forgot her lyrics and she went silent while the band kept playing.

Who care? Lip-sync or not, Ayu is just an OK singer even on CD. A marginally above average voice with so so resonance technique. And what's the big deal lip-syncing if really needed? Madonna openly does that and she admits that. People just make a fuss. Maybe somebody just being defensive.

i m ayu's fans, and i saw a few of her concerts (on dvd), sometimes when she's really really out of breath, we can hear a little difference that some part of the song she will shorten the notes (mostly during last few songs at the echo period)

Come on. I don't see Eason is critcizing Ayu's. He said, "some people in hong kong think that lip syncing means you can't sing, but Michael Jackson also lip synced. It's a part of performance and i don't think it's a problem." What Eason criticized was actually the resistance to lip sync in Hong Kong. michael jackson 也会 lip sync，原因不是他不会唱。现场表演的舞曲是没有什么可能真唱的，物理上来讲是不可能的。认为所有歌曲都要live唱下来只能说：有这种想法的人没有常识。那种站在原地或者坐在凳子上的歌手，一定要唱live才行。全世界的明星在跳舞的时候，都要假唱。

首先這位百痴 Eason 係冇睇步姐相關資料，一入場被Ayufans噓..
然後 Eason 一定唔知 ayu 幕後工作人員同樂隊有幾咁重頭
佢都唔知ayu左耳巳完全失去功能,幾乎聽唔出...但繼續做落去,因為Ayu唔想辜負步迷同欣賞 ayu既人走去上台落力表演,步姐所有歌詞都係親手作.. 如果步姐咪嘴既話,咁做落去都無意思,佢亦都唔會特地走去美國練習唱功先去出道啦... 仲有步姐都唔會用咪嘴方式同大家交流!! 好明顯百痴 Eason 係對號入座，最後步姐係日本天后係實至名歸!! 如果唔係佢都唔會去三大市場，台灣/香港/上海同大家分享步姐既音樂，日本只有步姐這個國寶級人物去咁樣咁親民出巡!!

日本的歌手本來就沒在對嘴的，若是對嘴就會被認為實力太差而人氣大減，濱崎步貴為天后，更不可能做出這種事來污衊自己；若是常看她的演唱會就知道，她每一場都能維持如此高水準，難到她有可能一直在對嘴嗎？

除了時尚流行外，濱崎步的唱功也真的是屬一屬二的好，不但中氣十足、而且又有很寬的音域，試問有多少人能夠唱到像她一樣的高音呢（ex：歌曲green的Instrumental合音部分、和歌曲M）？
那種中氣很虛的歌手做得到嗎？這樣看來，就不難想像她真的擁有能夠邊唱邊跳又能夠維持高水準的演出品質了。

It is impossible for ayu to lip-sync as she also has to perform with the live band. Even though she can lip-sync, but it is very difficult for her band to drum-sync or guitar-sync. Can he just think before he speak ?

just adding to the point - there are several occasions where she was singing and dancing at the same time, you couldn't hear her so-called "heavy breathing", but the next thing you know, she forgot her lyrics and she went silent while the band kept playing.
so, do you people still think she is lip-syncing?? don't tell me she was "forgetting lyrics"-sync (!)

1. He didn't mean lip-sync was bad. He called it "by necessity". Ayu's fans over-reacted.
2. These Ayu's fans who most of them haven't attended that HK concert are trying to challenge one of the best singers in mega-China who has completed the formal music training in England? Isn't it funny?
3. Ayu is simply an overhyped phenomenon. She may be a talented song-writer, but not such a good singer. Too many Jap singers better than her.

Too many jap singers are better than her are only your opinion... Ayu can sing pop ballads much better than most singers. BoA and utada might have their own merits but AYU has hers too..
An overhyped phenomenon is not neccessary to be popularity without brains. It proves that ayu has more innate quality than others.

i think alot of ayu's fan insist that she didnt lip sync in her previous concerts but what eason saw was only the hong kong one, i mean neither have i saw her performance in real life but its nothing offensive of saying that she lip sync, most people (including eason) understand the difficultity in singing while dancing, plus alot of pop stars record a 'live' version of the songs before the concert and play it in concert, so plz stop protecting your idol without thinking!

Who care? Lip-sync or not, Ayu is just an OK singer even on CD. A marginally above average voice with so so resonance technique. And what's the big deal lip-syncing if really needed? Madonna openly does that and she admits that. People just make a fuss. Maybe somebody just being defensive.

it's quite INSULTING to a singer (especially to Ayu) being pointed by another singer that she lip-sync. Here she was gaving her best performance to HK, thinking that ppl like it, only in exchange learn that she is being getting suspicious by singers in HK.
Also, there is such a thing as "hurting unintentionally". Altho Eason probably doesn't mean it, but he should be careful of what he says cuz he hurt others without mean it.
Finally, being her fan for 7+ yrs, she DIDN'T lip-sync.

i m ayu's fans, and i saw a few of her concerts (on dvd), sometimes when she's really really out of breath, we can hear a little difference that some part of the song she will shorten the notes (mostly during last few songs at the echo period)
Ayu tried so hard to give us the best live performance, we should cheer for her hard work.

Come on. I don't see Eason is critcizing Ayu's. He said, "some people in hong kong think that lip syncing means you can't sing, but Michael Jackson also lip synced. It's a part of performance and i don't think it's a problem." What Eason criticized was actually the resistance to lip sync in Hong Kong. He used Ayu as a good example to show why lip syncing can sometimes be good to the show and hope people don't resist to it.
