After about a month or two of listening to it I started to love the songs. Like Gods Dice, Breakerfall, Thin Air, Insignificance, and Grievance now are like crown jewels to me :)

But with the odd guitar lead simple yet effect drum presence and almost acoustic esque rythm guitar it does make you feel pearl jam are experimenting in something deeper. possibley even more proggressive than alternative rock... oh and the lyrics are about drugs LOL
