  • Excellent video!!! Thank you!

  • Arn't you beautiful! You speak english so well and your way of teaching in a simple way that anyone can grab a hold of is great.

I walked into a store selling antique chinese furniture and I suddenly fell in love with everything chinese. I know the written chinese language is also very beautiful. Can hardly wait to learn more.

    Thank you so much.

  • By using an English word to teach the tones, I was able to clearly hear the tones for the first time! That was a brilliant way to teach the tones. Now it doesn't seem so hard at all!

    Thank you for this video!!!!

  • gosh u're amazing! thank you thank you

  • well first off i would like to thank you for helping me in understanding mandarin chinese better. You have a beautiful personality and it is delightful to watch your videos. Now, the second part, is that many say the third tone is not always done fully and it only drops usually in conversation(not completing the upper part of the check mark like quality of the third tone) , so with this in mind, how does it differ from the fourth, would it be the speed? Once again thank you ;)

  • wow thanks !! btw you are so cute !!! :)

  • Just starting to learn Mandarin with Rosetta Stone but watching your video's is a great side reference. Thanks see why chang! Keep up the great work!

  • @MinnesotaMan34 Rosetta Stone sucks dick, man.

  • dude...I thought your a lady, that's why im here.....

  • lol

  • Thank you! Of all the languages of the world, I always found Mandarin to be the most intimidating. Thank you for breaking it down into smaller bites, making it easier to learn. The testing idea is great too! Fun!!! :)

  • That was very helpful, and I will be back to learn more. Thanks for posting.

  • Wow that was really helpful!

  • Excellent lesson. I find your examples very user friendly and easy to relate to not only in terms of the level of the tone but also the timing or how long the tone should last. Your face is handsome, the pitch and tone of your voice is beautiful, you have a great energy about you and have great body language. Altogether this makes you a pleasure to learn from. Thank you very much for your help. I hope to speak to you in Mandarin one day! All the best for your future. Jie fu

  • You are a natural talent. As a communicator or instructor you are magnificent. Your inherent intelligence is obvious, made more so by the excellent fashion in which you approach an intimating language.

  • @gpn0099 Well put, i agree 100% i just didnt know how to put it like you :) xiexie ni

  • yay! This is going to be my 6th language I'm gonna learn. You're helping me reach my goal!

  • I know the tones already but this is helpful because it shows similarities with something many people know (English). Keep making these videos!
